Heavy duty, solid, all steel and cast iron construction, wide and stable. Low profile makes it store-able under my workbench. Handle is spring loaded to stand up vertical and is detachable to get it out of the way until needed. I was using smaller low capacity floor jacks. While they are useful in tight places, I had one slip a couple of weeks ago, an unsafe situation. This jack is a professional model, with a wide lift platform and big stable footprint. The jack is ok . Amazon sucks when they post reviews and videos as this one had a video showing an extension you can put on the lift yet this model didn’t have it which was one of the reasons I bought it . I think I’ll keep it anyways

I even use this on my van, to get it up on heavy duty supports. How can I complain? I have another one, I used for 10 years, and when it wasn't working great I only added the right oil to it, according to a youtube video. You need this in your car, just in case.....
