The media could not be loaded. Disclosure: I have been flying r/c and using electronic gadgets for over 30 years. I was a little hesitant trying this when i saw a review that said "crackling noise" or something like that, but after using this a few times, it seems to work as advertised, and consistently. Got it on one of the Amazon days so it was about 20% less than regular prices, and I needed it quickly. Comes with some cables, which is nice. You will need a power supply to feed 5V to the charger. It should accept up to 2.4A. The 2 li-ion batteries that came with the unit fit in the charger without issues and charged to 100% without a problem. I also placed an original DJI battery in the charger and it also charged it without issues. Overall appears to be a good unit and about 50% less than getting the DJI charger/battery combo. I have not used the li-ion batteries enough to judge the quality, but since I needed something quickly, I took a chance with this and it appears to be ok so far. ... show more

Tried to get a better pic amidst my panic but thank God I did not plug this in overnight. It made a high pitched whining noise then about 5 minutes later heard a crackling noise and saw smoke coming out of the first battery slot. Do yourself a favor and just get the official charger that won't set your home on fire. ... show more

The charger makes a terrible buzzing noise when charging the batteries. The LED display is a nice touch though.

One of the batteries they shipped to me was defective and made my drone crash from 300' in the air. *Update* They made this right. They contacted asap and made the sale right with me. Very happy. Just check each battery purchased to make sure it's good before flight. I am happy with the transaction.
