Longest 4 hours of my life. The instructions were by no means difficult to understand. I liked how each page at the bottom mentioned exactly which pieces you would need. If you put all the wooden parts and hardware in order/grouped together, you can really cut down on time looking for pieces (which can make the project take longer). But you know, it was hot out and the instructions are detailed. Be sure everyone involved in building has been well fed prior to starting and keep water bottles on hand to avoid hangry comments. ... show more

    • Pretty good, not bad, I can't complain.
I was thinking about building my own swingset\playset but after looking up prices on swings and slides I figured it would be more efficient to buy this and modify it to what I wanted but to my surprise it is way nicer than I was expecting. Very easy to assemble, took my wife and I about 3 and a half hours. The materials are cheap and I don't think I'm going to be playing on it but for my toddler and 8yr old it is more than sturdy. If you have a drill and a socket adapter and room to lay out the pieces it's a easy quarantine job. ... show more

I saw there were a lot of mixed reviews before i bought this item. All of the reviews were accurate. This is an excellent playset for toddlers, and if you follow the weight limit, it should last thru those toddler years. Having said that, here were the concerns..... the box was ripped upon delivery. Luckily the driver stuck around til I answered the door to let me know and handed me the pieces that fell out of the box. I was able to use my handtruck to move the box myself. All of the pieces were there (including lots of extra hardware), so I didn't have to contact anyone for replacement pieces. The wood pieces could have been marked better. The instructions refer to the pieces as A2, A3, etc., but the actual part has a number stamp so you have to look at the part list to see what A2's part# is, but the stamp only has the last four numbers. Some of the stamps were smudged and not able to be read. If you sort everything when you begin (which I did), it's easy to identify the pieces. Construction wasn't bad. I did the whole thing myself with my crazy toddler running around the yard (i'm just a five foot nothin' girl) in 6-8hrs. My SO had to help with attaching the swing part to the treehouse/slide part. It's been together for a few days now and my son has had quite a few play hours in... I am starting to notice some minor cracking in some planks and the slide. I do plan to attend to these and pray that they don't get worse!! ... show more

Great purchase! I'm so glad that we were able to get this for the kids. Instructions were a little vague at times but nothing too horrible. Usually about 2 steps later the previous steps made sense. Its pretty sturdy but the stakes they provide are thick, wooden ones that had trouble with the texas clay right below our soil; so my husband replaced them with metal stakes. Other than that, it's perfect for the price! The canopy has withstood high winds and hail so far. And my kids say it's their favorite playground. ... show more

Perfect for toddlers-8. You get what you pay for- wood split in a few spots while assembling. Also in one of the support beams the screw just snapped

WE absolutely love this Swing Set and sandbox. She is just thrilled! It took 2 people to put together. Follow directions and you should be fine. The swings are sturdy and the little house is great and the sliding board is great too.

The playset is a built pretty well. Nice straight wood, everything that should be pre-drilled was. All the hardware (screws, bolts, washers, etc.) are all marked Fantastically in their own bags, the wood pieces are also all marked well. We did have a piece of wood that was cracked on delivery, and the company promptly sent a replacement. The paper instructions Can be confusing, SO PLEASE save yourself time and download the BILT AP and use it It is a GREAT tool. Its 3D, you can flip around the pieces, rehear the instruction, etc. If I Only used the paper instructions the assembly would have been much longer. All in all, we are happy with the playset. I did apply 2 coats of clear weather seal on it to help it stand up to the elements. I did ADD the steering wheel, Bell, and Spy scope. ... show more

    • High quality, sturdy, my kids love it
This took me about 8 hours to assemble by myself with minimal breaks. The instructions are very well written and easy to follow. The specialized bit is included with the hardware, and all bags of hardware are clearly labeled. I did what the instructions recommended and sorted the lumber ahead of time; this definitely saved time in the long run. After about 3 weeks of use, I’ve seen one surface crack in a board, but it does not appear to be affecting stability. I’ve also seen one bolt back itself out, which was easily tightened. I’d say just keep an eye on the structure, inspect it often, and be confident in your own carpentry/tool skills. Overall I’m very happy with this set and my kids will definitely get a few years of use out of it before they outgrow it. ... show more
