I was having neck and back problems because the pillows I have are about 6-7 years old and are flat. I didn't want a soft, fluffy pillow, but didn't want a rock either. I also wanted one that wasn't flat or big. (sounds like the 3 bears). yeah, I wanted one that was just right. I saw that this was shredded memory foam and that you could adjust the foam inside, which I did. It comes with extra foam. I did find it a little too high so I took out some of the foam and the pillow feels just right. If you take out the foam, keep it. I put mine in a baggie in case I need it in the future. The feel is soft. It's firm enough to where my head doesn't sink in, but it's also gives a little to where it's not like sleeping on a rock. The material seems to be of quality. Need a larger pillow case for it, maybe a king size. I have queen sheets, which fit my flat pillows. This is a little more plump, so need a bigger size. I think you can sleep on it without a pillow case, but I like to have pillow cases on pillows. My only complaint are the zippers. They seem to delicate. You can't manhandle the zippers (use a lot of force) because they might break.

Editing to add: I am now ordering a 2nd pillow for my husband because he tested it out and he likes it better then the feather style pillows hes used for years. 100% recommend! I've been using it for a month now and its a great pillow! I love that you can put as much or as little filling as you like to customize it to how you like it. The cooling side is amazing and stays cool! I sleep on my stomach with my arm under the pillow and its absolutely perfect, haven't had any neck or shoulder pain as I would with my old pillow. This is very affordable and very comfortable! Highly recommend!

I had high hopes for this cooling pillow, and at first, it delivered. For the first couple of weeks, it really did feel cool to the touch and helped me sleep more comfortably during warmer nights. Unfortunately, the cooling effect didn’t last. After about two weeks, it just felt like a regular pillow. That said, it is comfortable. The support is nice, and it’s still a decent pillow overall—just not quite what I expected from a product marketed for its cooling properties. If you're looking for long-term cooling, this might not be the one. But if comfort is your main priority, it’s still a solid option.
