I installed a new subpanel in my garage in order to provide true 20A circuits (12AWG wire and 20A breakers) in order to provide adequate current to my ever increasing number of power tools. I saw these on Amazon and thought that I'd try them out. PROS: • Excellent packaging with each outlet being wrapped in cellophane • Modern wire connections allowing for 4 conductor insertions attachments per side • Metal body is of a heavy gauge • Screws can be tightened using flat, phillips or square drive • UL listed CONS: • I have found none so far. Everything screws up tight, I have proper alignment with my metal boxes and the steel decora plates fit fine. NOTE These outlets do not feature push-in, quick grab conductor holes. GOOD! I've had those fail on me in the past. New NEC torquing requirements may have eliminated their use... if not, they should. It's so simple to insert a conductor in the hole and torque down the screw. ... show more

I recently purchased these outlets to replace the tamper-resistant outlets in my home. My wife hates the tamper-resistant outlets because they are difficult to use with her fingers, and she often can't plug in anything into the outlets.
