Product arrived ahead of schedule (Ordered on July 18 and arrived July 25). Box showed some external damage but all items were well wrapped. Installation instructions refer you to a youtube video. There were a couple of youtube videos with the same/similar name. Found the one that worked for me and just followed step by step. It took me about 40 - 45 minutes for total installation. Al required tooling is provided in box. Once up and running it works great. This is my 3rd week of using the radio and all is well. Order this unit maybe 8-9 days ago, literally got shipped out the very next day. I had a service schd to be installed, but watched a few youtube videos and decided to knock it out, took maybe 30 mins. The part that was a bit of a headache was connecting the new USB port, it was just a little hard to get to for my big hands, but I got it done. outside of that, soon as I turned the car on everything worked as normal and even better with the fresh sync 3 look. ... show more

    • Awesome upgrade for 2013 Explorer
I’m very happy with this product. This upgrade modernized my 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. It came with Sync 3.4, the latest version of Sync. I followed the install instructions on YouTube and it was all plug and play. I highly recommend this for any Ford owner that has the older Sync 2 system.

Took about 15 minutes to install in my wife’s 2013 explorer. Works perfectly and she loves it! The only knock is that it doesn’t do wireless CarPlay. Other than that I HIGHLY recommend the upgrade!
