The weight, weld quality, fit and finish, and secure locking pins all add up to a very secure feeling when working under the car with these. The large saddle and rubber pads are perfect for lifting an entire end of car by axle or other reinforced jack point I ordered separate rubber pads to use when lifting at the frame rail pinch points, they just fit better. I was a little apprehensive about the jack stands while ordering. A friend of mine assured me it was a good choice and one he has a set of 4 of also. Once they arrived, I was impressed with the fit and finish. The weight of the stands also is reassuring. The rubber top pad is also a great addition to protect against any painted metal finish it may be in contact with. I have already put them to use with maintenance with my car. I can't express how much more secure these feel over "ratchet" jack stands that I have. Solid, immovable, pins that are locked once level is selected. I admit, I feel more comfortable being under the vehicle now and will be ordering another pair to have a set of four. Highly recommend. ... show more

Wow talk about heavy duty! I purchased 4 of these and lifted my 10,000lb trailer for bearing repacking. They are built very well I love the rubber flat pads at the top as they work very well up against the frame. Solid construction all the way!

These are great jack stands. but if you want to save a few bucks go with the orange and blue AME brand. I own both sets and aside from color and 15 bucks they are exactly the same. I like the color on the other brand if Im honest. One star less for being more expensive

The best jackstands other than racing pin stands. If you race you know what pin stands are, they're by far the best type of jack stand but these are a close second. I can lift a vehicle so high up with these things and it's rock solid, zero movement. The design on these also is just much beefier than any other of the normal tooth style jack stand, combined with the rubber pads the car doesn't move at all. I use them for Rallycross on my subarus, and taken them for drift days on my lexus is300, just make sure to bring some ply wood if you're not in a garage to ensure the ground is level. I've used them on a Ram 1500 as well and felt more than safe underneath. I'm going to be buying another set of the low profile ones to take for my drift car for track days, these plus an aluminum race jack is the perfect track setup unless you can afford to go for pin stands. ... show more
