This thing is awesome so far! I was looking for something that would provide the heat output and stability for proper wok cooking. This one does that, and it is portable, and it has adapters for four common fuel canisters. The price is reasonable for the quality, which looks good. Seems pretty durable. It arrived yesterday (a day early, I think) and I just tested it by making fried rice. My fried rice game just went from good to great. Finally enough wind resistant flame to get my vegetables almost charred on the outside and almost raw at the center the way I like them. The design of the flame ports seems to put the heat on the wok even in pretty high wind. I have it hooked to a 20 lb tank of propane because I am sure that at the output I am using it it will eat a lot of the smaller options, but the various fuel options will let me take my favorite part of my kitchen anywhere. It pairs perfectly with the Craft Wok 14 inch round bottom wok I have, which sits on it nicely without sliding and tipping towards the handle like it does on a narrower base. I wish there was a control knob on the unit itself, instead of at the other end of the long hose. It works as long as I arrange things so that I am not tempted to bend over the flame while lighting or adjusting the burner. The long hose is nice, but should be managed to prevent tripping over it or snagging it somehow. The piezo igniter works reliably so far and is a huge convenience. Worth every penny, so far. Finally got around to using this thing. The plug that goes straight into the big propane doesnt work. Either the rubber bong is too big or something. Tried a different hose with an adapter and it worked fine. Then came to using it for a extended period of time. Roughly 45 mins. Come to find out one of the burners is dead or clogged. The next day. The stove stop working completely. No propane. Again plug the adapter hose to a different stove and it works fine. ... show more

I did go through the reviews. Because the reviews were mixed with different models, I decided to take a chance on this one. Like an idiot, I didn’t try to see if the unit worked first. After all of my prep work, wok ready, when I went to use the BESTFIRE (NOFIRE) unit, it would not turn on at all. So to those who recommend not wasting your time…hats off to you! I am trying to be very specific to save anyone else from great disappointment! So glad I was not out camping! Everyone would’ve starved! And yes, the “carrying case” is trash as well. This entire BESTFIRE unit is TRASH! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME OR EFFORT WITH THIS! UPDATE: Rather than simply return the unit that did not work at all, I requested a replacement. I received one very quickly and it was immediately hit like fire! So I’m changing from 1 star to 4. I didn’t give 5 because the first one did not work and the carrying case is so thin. But considering the stove itself wasn’t expensive I guess it’s great. I forgot to remove the WANGYUANJI Cast Iron Wok Support (which fits perfectly), from the video that I purchased separately because I wanted extra support/stability and was afraid of the Bestfire digging into and scratching up my wok. So if you plan to purchase this 72,000 btu, buy it ahead of time to be sure you’re getting one that will work. If it does, you’ll be happy with it….ok so now the video won’t post.🤣 ... show more
