Original below- update here- I moved the chair to a difference space in my living room and it immediately looked less dwarfed. Instead of a tv or lounging chair it’s now a reading/working chair. So I sit upright, and usually with my legs crossed in front of me and it’s actually very comfortable. So not great for relaxed sitting or lounging. Fantastic for sitting up and focusing on work or a book. For a few reasons- It sits way lower to the ground than I realized, it looks dwarfed in my average size living room. There is no lower back support, and with the back angled up, this creates a big deficit in back support, which to note is crucial in a chair that suggests lounging or comfort. I do wonder if I can bend it slightly to make the seat more relaxed and solve the lower back issue. Plus if it actually say more lounge like, it would be very comfortable. This chair is exactly what I was looking for. It has the perfect retro vibes and it’s very well made. The detail with the zig zag stitch work was a very welcome surprise as well. It is also one of the most comfortable chairs I’ve sat in, it’s absolutely what I needed for a reading chair. I only docked a star because connecting the back and bottom of the chair itself was a bit difficult and definitely needed two people to do. A tip is that you need to make sure the outer brackets are as tight as you can get them to get the middle bracket to reach the screw holes. Overall I would definitely purchase this chair again and am thinking about getting another one for our record area. ... show more

I originally ordered two matching chairs. We built one (very easy to put together) and it is super comfortable and good looking. Unfortunately we quickly realized we do not have space for a second chair. I contacted the Amazon Seller at Bestano and they responded quickly and helped me to return the unopened chair. It’s always a risk when buying chairs online but I am very happy with how things turned out. The color of the faux leather is lighter than what I thought it would be but that’s OK because I like this color better. I was able to push the box up the stairs alone (106lbs female here) and I was able to assembly the chair alone. But assembly took two hours and it was not an easy assembly. All the screws fit eventually and the cushion can be semi unzipped to make things easier, but that was not as easy as I thought it would be. (The chair actually shipped from a town ten miles from me and delivery was very speedy) ... show more
