Bright white and durable canvases great for kids that love to just ART all the time. I love that these are affordable, strong enough to hold lots of different materials, and come in a variety of sizes perfect for the different creations my little budding artist may have in mind. She loves that there's PLENTY OF THEM! This enables us to always have one on hand when the mood strikes. These accept pretty much all materials fairly well, and do not seem to warp unless you're REALLY loading it down with water. I also really like that these come with the little labels to mark and name your artwork - that made a big impression on my little one and she takes naming her work very seriously now!

My mother-in-law has a cabin where she regularly brings up groups for a weekend. We keep many art supplies there because one of the ways to do group participation is to do artistic things with them. Having a large number of canvases is a great way to draw people in. Whether a person is new to painting or has painted many times, there is something special about using a real canvas. These are low cost enough that it isn't too expensive to use, but they don't feel "cheap".

Review of Gredak Painting Canvas Panels,8x10 of 20 Pcs with laber Stickers, 100% Cotton Canvases for Painting Arts & Crafts with MDF Board Core ,for Oil and Acrylic Paint, Dry or Wet Art Media These work great for studies, for work intended to be photographed as the final product, for student work. There are better supports for professional artists to use, because you want to tell customers that the materials are archival, but these could certainly be used by professional artists to produce fine works of art. I’ve been painting for fifty years. When I first got started, painting panels were made of canvas glued to cardboard we were told not to use them because if they get wet they could be destroyed. They were fine for student work, but nothing you intended to last. These MDF (medium Density Fiberboard) core panels should have much better capability to stand up to humidity, dampness, mishandling than those with the cardboard cores. I often paint on cradled panels and those also often use gessoed MDF as the painting surface of the panel. The canvas is said to be medium grain, it’s not very deep grain. I have not found flaws in the canvas grain on my panels. They come well packed and are very reasonable in price. At the time of my review they cost a little over $1 each. I’ve used them for acrylic and oil paint and both worked well. Attached are some photos of a painting that started with acrylic then when that was dry, I switched to oil paint on the Gredak panel.

As an activities coordinator at a residential community, one of the things that has been requested a lot is painting parties, where someone demonstrates how to paint a particular subject or scene and others duplicate it. My budget is small, so I needed to find some small canvases in bulk that wouldn’t require the use of a lot of expensive paint. These are a great choice! These 20 8 x 10 canvases are ready to paint. I just peel the wrapper from the bundle and hand one out to each person. They readily absorb the pigment and are good for either wet or dry techniques. There are even 30 labels you can use to print the title of the piece, artist, medium, date and signature on and then affix to the painting, a frame or wall. At about $23-27 for the package of 20, you’re paying around $1.30 each, which is a good deal. If you can find paints and brushes at an affordable price and use paper plates and cups for blending, that’ll allow you to put on a nice event for a good group of people without costing an arm and a leg!
