I am so disappointed with this purchase. I was very hopeful and carefully with this table, since it's made out of "manufactured" wood, and it still stained and chiped so easily. I've had it only a couple months! It's ridiculous. I've also used coasters and placemats. We rarely used this table (we use our bar to eat) for it to get damaged so quickly. I unfortunately passed my return period and can no longer return it. PLEASE don't buy this, save your money and the headache.

This product got mixed reviews so I was a bit worried about the quality due to the great price point. The topper is great and it's hard to tell that it's manufactured wood. The natural oak almost looks like a butcher block, but from the feel of it I can tell that we'd need to be careful when using it daily by using mats and coasters. It took us less than an hour to assemble the table and everything was very intuitive. Happy with my purchase for now! Hopefully it lasts at least several years .

Assembly was pretty easy; one side I received had no holes on it so we had to make it ourselves. We tried to assemble all three without installing the rectractable bar, but as soon as we put it upright, it snapped in the middle and the snaps that hold the pieces together broke. We ended up installing the retractable bar at the end and it seems sturdy enough.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely horrible product. It is shipped poorly, packaged poorly, and DOES NOT LAST! We bought this table in October, NOT EVEN A FEW MONTHS LATER, the table was peeling, chipping, cracking etc. all with normal use. Now, five months later the table is scratched, peeled, chipped and the greedy seller won’t offer any type of refund. Just stay away from this seller, this product, do yourself a favor and buy a better quality product with a seller who stands behind their products. This seller is a COWARD hiding behind a crappy product and collecting his checks. Despicable owner, despicable product. Please stay away!!!!

The Good: this table is sturdy. It's made of three wood blocks mounted on four robust legs. You can remove the middle block if you don't want a shorter tabletop, and add it back in via a latching mechanism for when you need to extend it. This is super handy for small spaces. The table is also super easy to put together; I, a 27-year-old petite girl with no prior furniture assembly experience was able to follow the instructions and screw the legs to the table with no problems. The Bad: the immediately obvious drawback was the legs. They extend outward from the centre of the table in a 'V' shape instead of being perfectly vertical. It's a neat design-choice that sets it apart from other tables but what it means is that when the table is NOT extended, there is only enough room between the legs to fit a SINGLE chair. No way are you getting two chairs in there. I thought about having chairs just sit outside of the legs, but it was way too weird and took up too much room in our already-small living/dining room. So really the 'space-saving' quality of being extendable isn't really space-saving unless you only plan to have one chair on each side of the table. We ended up just keep the extension piece in permanently. The other bad thing is that when it wasn't extended, there was a VERY obvious lip (another reviewer mentioned this) where the wood pieces come together and it looks bad. It drove me mad to see the lip. Keeping the extension piece in solved this a bit, it made it less noticeable even though it still wasn't perfect. The Ugly: after two weeks of having this table, we realized it was NOT meant to be treated like any other kitchen table. The wood top is actually a STICKER and it bubbled up and peeled away revealing the raw "wood" underneath, leaving us with an unsightly peeling hole on our table. The hole has rolled white edges that really stand out and can't be trimmed or smoothed down. The table also quickly suffered from a very deep grease stain that didn't come out. It seems to be too porous and not actually waterproof or heatproof. We ended up contacting Amazon and getting a refund, but in the meantime have bought waterproof wood contact paper and stuck it on to hide the bubbles and protect the table until we are ready to replace it.
