Overall: just put together the table and love it. It fits really well in my open kitchen and does have the appearance of wood although it's a plastic material. Pretty lightweight but feels sturdy. Great value and easy to assemble. More details below. Packaging/Delivery: package was delivered faster than initially quoted by Amazon. Arrived in two large boxes. Both were somewhat heavy so would recommend a dolly or a second person to help carry. Every piece is individually wrapped in plastic and protected by Styrofoam so no damages upon arrival. Assembly: exactly enough screws are provided to complete the set so don't lose any. Allen wrench is provided although I stripped it down to the point it was pretty much useless by the time I finished tightening the last chair. I would absolutely recommend not tightening the screws all the way until you've managed to get every screw into place. Some of the screw holes aren't drilled perfectly in alignment so it required a little elbow grease to put into place. If you fully tighten screws on one side before securing the other, it might not align. I was worried about this during assembly but it all seems very sturdy now that it's finished. If I have any issues down the line, I'll adjust my review. Overall easy to follow the pictures for assembling and just like adult legos. Took me about 1.5 hours in total to complete assembly for table and all chairs. Quality: it's definitely a plastic table and plastic chairs although some of the Q&A claim that it's wood. It visually appears to be wood but you can tell it's not when you touch it. This does have its advantages because the table, bench, and chairs are all very lightweight. Storage under the table and bench are nice features but not certain how much weight it could store. It will be great for large platters other lightweight items that don't fit in cabinets. Other: the chairs and bench don't all push fully under the table since they would bump into each other. The measurements provided are exactly correct but keep in mind that the space for the table and chairs should be wider and longer than just the table if you're trying to fit into a tight space. I'd recommend adding an additional 8 inches on each side of the table if you're trying to get a realistic expectation of the space it will take up in a room. ... show more

    • I've grown to love this table, but it took a while.

So, first and foremost, this table was an actual nightmare to put together. Some legs/parts were bent, so the chairs were wobbly, and when I realized the table wasn't wood -- but this like, weird plastic/vinyl that just looks like wood -- I immediately wanted to stuff it back in the box and send it back. However, it looks REALLY nice in our apartment and I love the bench/how many seats. The other thing I realized, with having a small child, the table is really easy to clean, has plenty of storage underneath for stashing away bibs or other things we need, and the table (because of the material) isn't very hard/rounded at the corners so I'm not worried about heads getting bumped or doinked. It's really functional for our purposes and again, looks really, really nice. I'd say for the price, it was a worthwhile purchase. ... show more

The table was easy to put together and is a beautiful table. Getting it intact was a whole different story. We ordered it on black Friday as a Christmas gift/moving gift for ourselves since we were moving early January. We started to build it a couple days before we moved so the movers could move it and upon opening the table there was a giant hole in it! I contacted Amazon support and explained the situation to them and they said the seller would be providing us two ups labels within 48 hours for ups to pickup to return for a refund. I additionally sent a message to the seller explaining the situation. Well without me approving anything, they shipped a replacement box to what would soon be our old address! Their responses were strange and did not make sense with what I was telling them. They didn't tell me who the carrier would be but luckily I was watching and intercepted it but had to pay the fee to get it delivered to the correct address. So all of that was a nightmare! My advice, open the box immediately to check for damages and you will not be able to return, only receive a replacement. BUT the table is great and perfect for our setup (we have a massive living room and turned the dining room into a home office). Also the table is much larger than the pictures make it seem. Even in my photo it looks small but it's a fairly large table so check the dimensions. I gave 4 stars because our customer service interaction was strange and stressful but the table itself is 5 stars. ... show more

I received this in two separate boxes, two separate days. I put it together when the second box arrived. (Which I’m glad I did because all the hardware arrived in the second box with the table) Everything is so beautiful. I love the faux wood. A few pieces were chipped on the back of the chair but hardly noticeable. Also, all of the chairs (but one) and the table had a short leg and was wobbly. I just added a felt pad furniture stopper (that I surprisingly had on hand) on the bottom of the short leg and it’s fine. After that, I found everything to be very sturdy. ... show more

This woulda got 5 stars, BUT it was a pain to build and once I had already ripped open the boxes and built the chairs the table top was at the bottom and I saw a giant hole right on top of the table. I was so annoyed cause the packaging was not damaged and I had already built everything else. I contacted the seller and all they were willing to do for me was replace the item. But I had to package the original, take it to shipping store and ship the damaged one back. I explained that wasn’t convenient for me as the original packaging was no longer usable, it would be hard to box it back up, and I had build all the other pieces and that had taken two hours and was very difficult and I was 6 months pregnant and unable to haul this heavy set to a store. I had requested to just keep the damaged item but get a portion of my money returned for the damaged item. They said NO, I have to go buy a box to ship it and if it’s too heavy to ask a family member to help!! Im amazed by how poorly they were willing to help for their damaged product.
