Most of similar products I’ve seen at stores are pretty flimsy our have a flame that’s mostly decorative. This turned out sturdy and has a good heat output. They should have included some better strap for the gas tank though - it’s pretty useless and the way the gas pipes are placed inside makes it a bit tricky to position the tank without hitting one of the pipes. It’s also pretty hot near the tank if you want to turn off the valve after using the fire pit - so there is a good chance to burn your hand if you want to shut off the gas tank valve (optional, since you can shut it off with the external valve). Overall pretty good and better than other products I’ve seen. Ignition and external valve are very cheap plastic but the rest is good quality

Will give seller credit. When 1st firepit arrived we saw it was black, not dark brown, and we refused delivery. Seller said to cancel and reorder. They gave us our money back and we reordered. Product arrived yesterday. Same problem. Black, not dark brown as ordered. I accepted it because it is the size and the way it is built matches our other furniture. The table top has a slight crease on 1 side, a dent on the underside and a small scratch with bare metal showing on the top. It was easy to assemble, sturdy and works really well. I love it. Love it more if it was the color i ordered!!!

I bought this hoping it would match my new outdoor furniture however as you can tell from the picture, it’s a significantly different grey color than the listing shows. It is definitely grey as listed but it wasn’t what I was hoping for. Putting it together was easy however I haven’t hooked up a propane tank yet so can’t say how it works.

Really decent build and easy to assemble if you aren't afraid of an Allen key. At high heat you may only get 14 hours or so of run time. But If you keep it to an ambient setting a decent amount of heat still comes out and Maybe triple that. As for the paint defects I would definitely cover it and I think you'll be fine. I have mine under a 10 foot wood porch and the heat dissipates enough to not damage it. Really happy with the purchase. Ps. If you want to cover the propane tube you will need at least another 5 LB bag of beads or firepit glass.
