The set turned out to be very pretty after 3 hours of assembly (granted, I did it by myself while trying to keep 3 dogs off the instructions). It’s not that the assembly is that confusing. It’s just the stupid Allen Wrench (which is typical for most home assembly). I have a drill bit that could do the trick, but in most spots, the holes don’t exactly line up so it takes some muscle and strategic angling to get the screws in. After putting the first chair together, I took the advice of other reviewers and did not tighten all the screws until all pieces were connected. I’m looking forward to hosting friends for drinks this summer on my new dining set!

It is a little tedious to put together, but it is quite beautiful and comfortable in the end. The cushions are nicer than others I have bought and I ScotchGarded them. I got the red. I am 6'3", 240 lbs and the chairs are comfortable for me. If you have it outside, you may want to consider that the wicker sides to this set can act like a sail in the case of high winds and place them appropriately. I live in Tennessee where we don't get a lot of high winds, but it did happen as I explain below. Impressed by the seller though. One week after I had it on my deck, a strong storm wind came that knocked down tree's as well as sending my table off my deck to the stairs, overturning it a breaking the glass top. I called the manufacturer, Best Choice Products, and got a live person. I told him I needed to but a new glass which is an uncommon 33x33". He told me that they don't have a glass or a table that could be sold separately, and he refunded money back to my Amazon account that showed up in 3 days. To get a live person, and to solve a problem that fast, this seller is on my favorites list for future purchases. Actually, I'd give the table a little less than 5 stars for assembly, but would give the seller, BCP, more than 5 stars.

I assembled this set today and it seems stable and nice for the price. It was a little tedious to assemble but I got it done in one afternoon. The seats and cushions are comfortable. The glass on top is painted black on the underside instead of smoke color glass. The only problem is that the black paint can scratch and can be a mess to deal with. The only improvement I would suggest is to put a smoked glass top on instead of one painted black on the underside.

Furniture itself before putting together seemed quality, however after getting the entire massive Two packages delivered to my doorstep, I figured it maybe difficult to put together all the pieces. Many reviews prior said the chairs were difficult etc. but as the persistent soul I am, I Figured it would be no problem for me to tackle the project head on as I have done plenty of complicated IKEA furniture before. I got the box unpacked and stayed focused on the one direction page. After doubting myself over and over again with the chairs and holes not matching up over and over again and many hours later, frustrated into early morning hours of precious time I really don’t have being that I am a mom of little ones with a full time job, and dog a house, etc. I finally gave up. This freaking furniture does not match up to the holes it had measured!! How frustrating!!!! This effort was completely wasted!!! At least when I contacted customer service they were okay with me fully returning all of it with a full refund. But what a waste. Don’t buy unless u want to waste your time..

I chose this patio set for a small space. It was not difficult to put together...just tedious. It took me about an hour per chair because you use the supplied Allen wrench to loosely tighten the screws. Then you go back and tighten them some more. Then, tighten the screws again. Repeat. If you don’t, your chairs will be difficult to assemble. There is not much room for your hand when tightening the screws because they are on the underside of the seat and there is little clearance. One of my chairs had a screw hole that was so far off, there was no way to put a screw in. I had to drill a completely new hole. Two of the chair legs arrived with the resin wicker unraveling. Why did I not return the chairs? They were packed just-so in the box when they arrived. When I saw how they were “sardined” in the box, I knew repackaging them was not going to be in my future. It is not a bad set...it is what I expected for the price-point. I fixed the unraveling wicker with tape. I should not have had to drill a new hole for a screw but there was no way around that. The cushions that come with the chairs are very thin. The chairs are comfortable without the cushions, though. The table was much easier to assemble and looks nice with the tinted glass. All in all, it is a nice little patio set but could use better quality control at the factory. They could also LABEL the screw packages!

Really love having this light gray wicker set. It's lightweight and easy to move around my back patio if I need to do it alone. The seats are really comfy and it's nice that the arm rests are a little bit thicker. The cushions are about 1.5" thick. Both the chairs and table are really sturdy and do not wobble what so ever during use. We get a ton of pollen in our backyard, so we wanted a material that was easy to wipe down and these are it. The wicker appears brand new practically after 2 seasons of use, which is awesome. The chairs are not oversized, they are your typical seat size. These are really just meant for sitting at the table, eating and relaxing. It's a bit hard to get comfortable with your legs up on the chair as you have to squish yourself. It was fairly easy to put this set together, but it did take a decent amount of time. You have to use an allen wrench for all of the screws, which is a bit tedious and has your fingers hurting by the end. It is worth it though!!! It's really great quality for the money and has held up wonderfully!

So far we haven't used the table because we already had one and just needed new chairs. We will hang on to the table for somewhere else. We live in Canada and this set was $1200 there. I think we paid about $300 for the same set through Amazon.com We couldn't have bought new chairs for $300 in Canada let alone a ser of chairs and table. They make a really nice addition to our our patio and we've had lots of compliments thus summer. The chairs are sturdy but not overly heavy. The fabric is good quality, and the red is a subtle red which is really nice. The only thing I notice is the red has already faded a lot so may need to look into something to fix that. Our deck is very sunny and hot though. Overall a nice sturdy set and not hard to put together.
