The Firepit arrived quickly. The two boxes arrived a day apart. On one of the side panels, two of the screw holes had poorly cut threads and the screws wouldn’t go in very far. Customer service couldn’t send just a replacement panel so shipped another whole Firepit. I didn’t want to wait the 5 to 10 days for it to arrive so purchased an M6 Tap on Amazon for 2nd day delivery ( about $6 ). I used the tap to recut the threads in the holes and assembled the Firepit just fine. I also wanted to be able to move the Firepit around my patio easily so purchased a set of M6 threaded stem caster wheels and used them to replace the M6 threaded adjustable height feet. Having read of the issues with the igniter, I replaced it with an electronic BBQ igniter ( MENSI 11.8” Long Grill Replacement AA Igniter With Electrode Wire High Effiency Pulse Ignition Kit ). I removed the old igniter by pulling off the wire from the igniter that connects to the electrode installed on the burner and unscrewing the nut on the back of the igniter. The new igniter is slightly larger in diameter so I had to slightly enlarge the hole in the Firepit Panel using a dremel tool with a grinding stone. The replacement igniter mounts from the rear and the round nut screws on from the front. Then just plug the wire from the electrode on the burner onto the contact on the back of the new igniter and install a AA battery ( positive terminal facing out ). The new igniter works great. You do not need to use the electrode that comes with the electronic igniter as the connector on the wire from the original electrode fits perfectly on the new electronic igniter. Be advised that the Firepit has a safety device that will automatically shut off the gas to the burner if for some reason the fire goes out while both the tank valve and the burner control valve are still on. This device is heat controlled and requires the burner be on for 15-30 seconds before it allows the gas to remain on. This requires you to push in and hold the burner control knob for the necessary 15-30 seconds after the fire ignites or the fire will go out. If the sensor isn’t hot enough the fire will go out when you let go of the burner control knob.

We wanted a gas firepit for our front deck and this one fit the bill nicely. The colors are great and most importantly the firepit is solid and working well! It was pretty easy to build but does have some large, heavier pieces so you may need help assembling it. Also be sure that your door is wide enough if you opt to assemble it inside so that you don't find yourself having to take it apart because it's too wide to fit through once assembled! So far the pit works great! It's easy to light with the push button and the optional glass feature to put around it looks quite nice and helps to reflect some of the wind. I was pretty surprised how much heat this will put out even at lower settings. It also seems to be able to generate a much larger flame on high than some other fire pits we've used. The black glass stones are a really nice touch over the typical lava rocks that comes with most of these. Last and not least important, the tank (which of course is not included) is easy to access from a side panel that is attached magnetically.

After searching the internet, I decided on this model, and I could not be happier. The table arrived in two packages. One was the glass wind guard and the other was the table. The wind guard was easy enough to assemble, but took far more than the 5 minutes claimed by the manual. Some of the screws were set too far into the corner pieces. I had to take a knife and put pressure on the screw to back it out. Take your time and line every angle up so that it is square. It fits into the table top, so you must be precise. The table was easy also, just a bit tedious. You have to use the hex key that's included, and the spaces are tight. Save the cardboard from shipping, because the final assembly requires you to turn the table upside down. Use cardboard on the floor so you won't scratch the top. It took me 1 hour from start to finish, and I am very good at assembly, but I was not in a rush. Once finished I was very impressed. Sturdy, well made, and great finish. Compares with very similar models that cost twice as much. I found the exact model for $140 more elsewhere. The burner is very good and produces a lively flame even on low. We used a blue/green mix of glass chunks and it looks very nice. I did wash the glass first, and I am not having any blackening. I would suggest that if you get black soot stains on your glass, it's probably your propane that is the problem. That soot is caused by contaminants in the gas, so its either your tank or your supplier. The table is a beautiful addition to our patio, and I highly recommend this product.

I wanted a fire pit that matches my outdoor furniture better. Found this one on amazon with mostly good reviews. The assembly was easy and manageable by myself. Took me about 45 minutes. The rocks it comes with are pretty (black glass) but I may get different ones at a later time that give out a bit more sparkle. The glass wind shield was also easy to put together and makes the table look a bit more high end and finished. It came in a separate package a day earlier than the fire pit. Overall a great buy for the money. We live in South East Texas and don't have many cold evenings so this fits the purpose of giving more of an ambience that actual heat. Don't get me wrong, the fire puts out some heat but just not enough to warm up a group of 4 people sitting around it in 40 degree weather.
