It was a good deal and fairly easy to put together. Once you get the first chair right, the second one is easy. For the table, it tells you to attach opposing sides first then the end. I found it easier to attach the end to the top first, then it’s obvious which side goes where.

We recently purchased this bistro set for the balcony at the shore. We needed something relatively compact, but also comfortable. This set fit the bill perfectly. Pros: 1) Easy to assemble - it took me a little over an hour, but I was watching TV at the same time. My point: the instructions are good and it’s a simple process. With a 2nd person and an extra Allen wrench, you could be done in 30 mins or less. 2) Good size - the chairs will be a good size for most people. I’m around 5’10” and you can see from the picture that my legs/knees are at a good angle. 3) Comfortable - the seat cushions are very comfortable to sit on. I spent several hours in total sitting this weekend and have no discomfort (believe me: my back would let me know). 4) Looks great - As you can see from the picture, it looks great. It’s a really nice addition! Cons: 1) Small complaint - the color is more “olive/gray” than the light gray I was expecting. With that said, my wife is fine with it, so that’s all matters. 2) The rattan (or whatever it is) feels thin. I feel like if I poke hard enough, it’ll break. I'm not talking about the sturdiness of the furniture - just the material itself. 3) The chairs are a little “off” - I did everything right, but the legs aren’t quite even. Not a BIG deal - they aren’t off by much - but a minor issue. Overall, this is a great set - especially for the price. We are considering buying another set (the balcony is big enough) because we like this one so much. ... show more

You cannot beat the price. The finished look is great. This is a very sturdy set and is comfortable even for big people. The assembly can be a little challenging. I would recommend assembling this on a very flat surface. The Allen wrench included is very tedious to use.I recommend using a ratcheting screwdriver with an Allen bit.It is so much faster than hand turning a wrench over and over again. Assemble it “loose” and do not tighten until all the legs and parts fit nicely with no rocking, then hand tighten with the provided wrench.You may have to loosen a part or two in order to get a perfect seating. This is an important step to make the chairs and table sit perfectly on the ground. There a lot of fasteners , so have patience ,take your time and you will be rewarded with a perfect bistro set ! The chairs are smaller than I imagined, but will work OK on my deck. Definitely plastic and not sure how long these will hold up in time, especially if one of the weaved strands break then there is no repairing. I don't belief these chairs are meant for a lot of active use. They are functional on my deck for looks and the occasional guest. These are actually the perfect size for my 8 and 10 yr old grandkids. The hardware is cheap. I stripped a couple of the screws with the allen wrench. This set didn't come with instructions. I was able to spread the pieces on the floor and figure it out. A couple of the screw holes didn't align properly. I even took it apart and tried to assemble in a different order, but was still left with small gaps in the seam where it was supposed to fit tightly. I'll probably have to buy new hardware in the future and reassemble with gorilla glue to secure. The allen wrench was most difficult. I would recommend an electric drill with allen wrench tip, but you will run the risk of stripping the inside if the screw as I did just with finger strength. I wish I would have spent more $ for a higher end product, but as stated, this is just ornamental chairs for my balcony that won't get much use. I am not sure how they will withstand the weather. The side table is fine altogether suction cups that adhere to the top glass to the table don't work. You will get what you pay for. For the quality, it should be around $100. ... show more
