It was a good deal and fairly easy to put together. Once you get the first chair right, the second one is easy. For the table, it tells you to attach opposing sides first then the end. I found it easier to attach the end to the top first, then it’s obvious which side goes where.

These are not HARD to assemble; it's just that the bolts are in places that are hard to reach. I am the queen of Allen wrench assembly, and I had to use my own set of wrenches to get this to work. (Also, weirdly, the wrench that came with the hardware TWICE slid down inside the back/side of the chair and wouldn't come out! Had to use a magnet to pull it into a position where I could reach it! That was one example of the awkwardness of the bolt positioning.) On the bright side, they're sturdy and attractive, and priced well. ... show more

You cannot beat the price. The finished look is great. This is a very sturdy set and is comfortable even for big people. The assembly can be a little challenging. I would recommend assembling this on a very flat surface. The Allen wrench included is very tedious to use.I recommend using a ratcheting screwdriver with an Allen bit.It is so much faster than hand turning a wrench over and over again. Assemble it “loose” and do not tighten until all the legs and parts fit nicely with no rocking, then hand tighten with the provided wrench.You may have to loosen a part or two in order to get a perfect seating. This is an important step to make the chairs and table sit perfectly on the ground. There a lot of fasteners , so have patience ,take your time and you will be rewarded with a perfect bistro set ! We use it every day. I expect it last a long time. ... show more

The chairs are smaller than I imagined, but will work OK on my deck. Definitely plastic and not sure how long these will hold up in time, especially if one of the weaved strands break then there is no repairing. I don't belief these chairs are meant for a lot of active use. They are functional on my deck for looks and the occasional guest. These are actually the perfect size for my 8 and 10 yr old grandkids. The hardware is cheap. I stripped a couple of the screws with the allen wrench. This set didn't come with instructions. I was able to spread the pieces on the floor and figure it out. A couple of the screw holes didn't align properly. I even took it apart and tried to assemble in a different order, but was still left with small gaps in the seam where it was supposed to fit tightly. I'll probably have to buy new hardware in the future and reassemble with gorilla glue to secure. The allen wrench was most difficult. I would recommend an electric drill with allen wrench tip, but you will run the risk of stripping the inside if the screw as I did just with finger strength. I wish I would have spent more $ for a higher end product, but as stated, this is just ornamental chairs for my balcony that won't get much use. I am not sure how they will withstand the weather. The side table is fine altogether suction cups that adhere to the top glass to the table don't work. You will get what you pay for. For the quality, it should be around $100. ... show more
