I am not one to write a lot of reviews, but I do make the time when I really feel others might benefit. We’ve been putting off getting an outdoor canopy for a couple of years now. We have a large umbrella that we use on our patio, and unless it rains, it’s enough to shade the sun while we eat. However, we’ve been going to more outdoor events with our children and grandchildren, and recently started selling at flea markets. Yesterday we used it for the first time at a vintage flea market, and I cannot believe we waited so long. When you open it for the first time you will be amazed at what the 10x10 size gives you. We were able to put our 8” table, 2 chairs for us to sit, and all the products we were selling easily within, and still had plenty of room for our customers. Best of all, we had more customers coming to our booth because it was cooler underneath than anyone else’s. We also had a surprise rain shower, a downpour actually, and not a drop came in through the canopy above. There were other canopies and umbrellas at the show but none to equal. At closing, my husband was talking with someone with a similar canopy, who was putting it away and I noticed the material was not as strong as ours, and the metal used seemed more flimsy. It has a similar setup, but just appeared and seemed to be less sturdy overall. We also didn’t open it before the show yesterday, and I was nervous about doing it “live” in case we had issues, but it is literally as easy as it says; I previously watched the video and it works as advertised. When we were done, I told my husband I wanted to try putting it away myself, in case I do a show on my own, and it was so amazing and easy to do, and this is coming from a 71 year old grandmother. I’m sure I won’t be able to do it in 60 seconds, but now I know I can do it alone in about 5 minutes. I do read reviews before I purchase and I saw some negative reviews, something about the poles, but I would say as long as you open and close it properly, they are definitely quite strong and should hold up for many years. I did decide to get separate weights for the 4 poles (40 pounds total), as I thought it might be quicker than using the 4 stakes, and it worked really well. But I’m sure the stakes would have done equally well. I ordered the weights that I found on the same page as this item, and they were so easy and quick to use. Between the price, the quality, and the functionality, it’s a definite win for us.

Like the ease to put up/ take down. Like the shade it provides. Like the shelter from rain. Like the bag on wheels. The stakes are too light weight- we didn’t use. We added heavy tent stakes and bought the weight set. Very nice addition for camping!

I originally purchased this for youth sports, but it has quickly been used for impromptu picnics and will be an asset for summer outings. It fits nicely in my trunk, is sturdy, and adjusts at angles and different hights. The colors are vibrant as well. This is a nice addition to our outdoor gear. Very sturdy, easy to pop up, folding the canopy back up was a pain but only mild cussing.

Having owned at least a dozen canopies over the past many years, I'm pretty familiar with what works and what doesn't. 1. Ease of use: The single center push-up function has its plusses and minuses. TECHNICALLY one person can set it up but I've found it's no easier than the traditional canopies with a lock at the top of each leg. I find it annoying that I need to stand UNDER the canopy while it's very low to the ground in order to lock the center portion. Fortunately, I don't take it down very often, which leads me to 2. Durability: I didn't expect much as this model has fairly thin "pot metal" legs and what appears to be a fairly thin canopy with very little reinforcement. I've owned other models which were much heavier duty. However, this one survived a surprise downpour a couple days after I set it up, and just recently endured an absolute deluge with no signs of damage. Further, 3. Based on reviews I didn't think that it would be waterproof, but as it turns out it is very waterproof. As far as I can tell, even during the heaviest downpours, there is no leakage.

This canopy is well made and easy to assemble. Does take more than one person but only because not able to open and expand alone. It is well made and does a wonderful job of sheltering you from the sun. Highly recommend.

VERY EASY to set up, even the first time, right out of the box! Only takes 1 person to set up (although easier with a helper). Breaks down easily too, and fits back into its bag with zero hassle. Color is on point. Great customer service from seller as well!

The frame is very sturdy and thick compared to most of these tents. It’s very easy to set up. If it’s not windy, you can definitely do it with one person. I recommend leaving the canopy on when you put it away— it makes it way easier. You can leave all the tabs connected and it doesn’t seem to put stress on it anywhere. After 3 months (well out of warranty/return period) I had an issue with one of the two tents I bought, and they replaced it for me. I really appreciate it, as most companies wouldn’t have done that. If you’re deciding between this one or another, I can definitely recommend this one. Quality is excellent. Customer service is excellent. I couldn’t ask for more.

PROS: 1) Once you get it set up the first time, its super easy to move or set up again. 2) Compact, folds nicely 3) LOVE the sandbag option (i used pavers instead of sand, but at a beach sand would work great) CONS: It broke at a joint where 3 bars come together in the canopy area. A bolt holds the 3rd angled bar to the 2 bars that make a joint, the only problem is the structure is made out of a thin kind of aluminum/steel and they didn't reinforce the joint with some kind of plate. So the hole they drill for the bolt leaves very little metal left for support which is exactly where mine broke when we picked it up to move it and some wind tried to take it like a kite, the force of us pulling down while the wind pulling it up made it break at the joint. I may try and have a family member weld it back together and possible add it supports at the 3 other places these joints exist but I'm not sure if welding is an option with how thin it is.
