Description

Berlin Flyer Wagons is an Amish-owned business in Holmes County, Ohio. The Berlin Flyer F410 Sport is the workhorse of the Berlin Flyers Wagon line, first made in 1965. These popular express wagons are made right here in Ohio using locally-sourced solid hardwoods and steel, and all parts (except the wheels) are manufactured in-house. Each Berlin Flyer Wagon is made with a solid wood bed, painted hardwood side rails that are easily removed, and an all-steel frame that is welded and powder-coated. Finally, the express wagon is finished with non-toxic paint and varnish for your peace of mind. The Berlin F410 Sport Wagon comes with 10" x 4" foam-filled tires and the wagon bed measures 36" x 17.25". Easy assembly (approximately 10-15 minutes) is required and detailed assembly instructions are included. The Berlin Sport Wagon weight capacity is rated for up to 300 Lbs. Choose between 6 vibrant colors: Red, Emerald Green, Orange, Purple, Hunter Green, and Blue.

I was looking for a little help to haul the groceries into the house from the garage. I'm 71 years old and my back has started to complain about such things. This wagon cost about 2x more than I was planning, but I couldn't pass up the quality, design and charm of this little wagon and I was delighted to find an alternative to a cheap import made of Chineseium. The instructions are minimal, but that's OK because so is the assembly. A hammer is all that's required and it doesn't even have to be a good hammer. The tires are made of sturdy plastic which has the disadvantage of vibration and more noise than pneumatic tires, but the advantage of much less rolling resistance and they never go flat. I'm not sure how well this wagon would hold up under use by a gang of rambunctious kids however. It's sturdy and very well made, no question, but it is wood after all. I think of the Radio Flyer from my childhood. That thing was a battleship with wheels and we put it through hell. But time marches on and even Radio Flyer doesn't make things the way they used to. ... show more

Stop looking for a wagon because this is the one you want the quality is just fantastic. I’m 57 years old. I had one like this when I was a kid solid well built wagon. It’s hard to find anything built today that will last. This wagon will last you years to come. I’m using to haul my fishing equipment. I’m disabled have a hard time carrying my fish and stuff. This wagon solve that problem you really need to buy this wagon really stop looking you will not go wrong with this wagon. Even the box it came in. Thick and solid take Hercules to open the box. I am so happy with it. And if you have children they will love this Wagon you guys will get so much enjoyment from this wagon. Go ahead and buy it I’m the most honest person in the world. I gave this as a gift to 2 different couples who had there first baby boy. Both baby and parents were THRILLED with their wagons. They both told me that the wagon arrived undamaged and was easy to assemble. One of the wives couldn't wait for the husband to get home and assembled it herself in less than 10 minutes. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the extra cost over the radio flyer, 100% yes. Assembles in minutes with just a hammer. By contrast I bought a tiny decorative red wagon from the radio brand for a few dollars and it took me a socket set, a power drill, and a hammer. It was completely silly. This is absolutely solid and the no-tip steering is important when the 5yo is running at full tilt with the 2yo in the wagon. Obviously you’re not supposed to do that but anyone with small children will understand. Small imperfections in the purple paint but given this is made to be enjoyed I wasn’t bothered. I like that this is made in the USA. This is a good old fashioned wooden wagon. I took one star off of “Ease of Assembly” for a lack of any illustrations. It wasn’t a problem for me, but a novice at assembling things might need a little more help. I think there is a video on the Berlin Flyer webpage. Maneuverability is good. You can’t turn quite as sharp as you would if the front wheels pivoted on a center point, but that is what makes other wagons easier to tip. I like the no-tip steering, so in my mind it’s definitely worth the trade-off. It seems very sturdy, overall. I only gave 3 stars for sturdiness, simply due to the side rails. The horizontal slats are attached to the vertical posts with staples and apparently without glue. I say this because one slat easily popped loose just while while I was handling it before putting it on. This is important because I could see putting the side rails on with the wrong side facing out may weaken them to any force from inside the wagon, like a child leaning on them. The only other thing I was a little disappointed in was the black finish on the metal. It arrived already scratched off in a few places and completely lacking in another (see photos). I do like the no-flat tires. Overall, I’m pleased I chose this wagon over all the others. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

I love it. It came almost fully assembled. It took me less than 5 minutes to put the wheels on and attach the handle. The assembly video shows the handle being attached with a machine screw and a nut. But instead, it came with a solid pin with a quick-release spring wire. Very strong and FAR more convenient for breaking down to fit into a car. It rolls 'like a dream' And, no, I don't know the makers - I just liked the design and the price, so I bought it; and I wasn't disappointed. I would buy from Amish Toy Box again. ... show more

I got this for my grandson who will be 3 1/2 yrs. at Christmas. He is gonna love this! He can load it with all his construction vehicles and other trucks and cars to take them in and out of the house to the backyard. When friends visit they will enjoy pulling each other around. I filled it up with his other Christmas presents and will set the wagon in front of the tree for Christmas morning. It is very sturdy, well built with safety in mind.
