This small electric "motorcycle" looking vehicle is fun, fast, and has decent battery life (around 30-40 mins on paved surfaces). Our grandson is almost 9 and weighs 65+ lbs and it serves him fine. However if he grew 2-3 inches he would be way too big for this vehicle. Not for tall kids. Also, it is NOT a motocross vehicle. It does NOT do well on hills, gravel, or wet surfaces. Santa brought this for our son for Christmas. The “elf” who put it together said it was easy. Clear instructions about how to keep the battery’s ability to hold a charge. He rode it on and off yesterday and we charged in between. We expect to get about 30 minutes out of the battery and didn’t max it out yesterday. He’s almost 8 years old and loves it. ... show more

I usually don’t leave reviews but I’m so impressed with this after I had doubts that I thought I should share. We bought it for our 5 year old son before buying the real thing because we weren’t sure if he would be into it or not. This is a great, sturdy bike. Awesome starter bike for kids! It’s got great battery life too, we rode it for hours before it died! My son rides around with all the bigger kids on their dirt bikes and it keeps up and looks just like theirs.
