Bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. She rode if for a few seconds and it quit, then worked intermittently afterward. (Sometimes it would go when the button was pushed, other times it wouldn't.) I called Kid Trax and spoke to a fella named Garth. He was kind and seemed generally interested in helping me, but went on to explain their process for warranty: I had to email a video of it not working. Odd … and cumbersome … but I took the time to do so and sent it along. Upon receipt of my video, Kid Trax sent me an email saying they believed it was a faulty steering wheel assembly (the one on the car has the push-button power switch integrated into the assembly). A few days later one showed up on my porch. Unfortunately that wasn't it. Exhausted with the back and forth, I took a long shot and found a $7 circuit breaker on Amazon that matched the one under the seat, ordered it, and voila, the issue was remedied. I don't fault Kid Trax for a faulty part or even a bad diagnosis. However, the process was ridiculous and in the end I spent far too many hours of my own time resolving the matter. Apparently that's OK with Kid Trax; my time is free (to them) so it saves them money as opposed to just sending me a new product(?). That's the rub. I expected more from my money. ... show more
