This is a very attractive side chair, it is firm and the back is low but I think it’s an excellent side chair. It’s small enough that if it doesn’t work out in the den if would fit very nicely in a bedroom.

I wanted to get an accent chair for my daughter's small apartment without spending a lot of money. I noticed that all the deals are on "armless" chairs, but she wanted one with arms. The wrap-around-style back of this chair is very comfortable with sufficient back and arm support all in one. I LOVE the pattern too. The colors make it relatively easy to make with many decors. And for the average price of one arm chair I also got an ottoman. The chair seems to be made well, and is fairly sturdy though lightweight (rubberized pads keep it from sliding on laminate flooring). Assembly only involves screwing on the legs.

When I bought the chair, I expected the color to look like the pictures. I thought it was cream-colored. So when it arrived and I saw it was beige, I was really disappointed. I’m not a fan of beige at all, and I needed a lighter color for my home office to match the decor. The beige clashed with my room and looked dingy. To be fair, the description does say beige, but I missed that part and only noticed the color in the images. I wanted to return it, but the cost to return was more than the chair, so I kept it and put it in my den. Under the lighting in my den, the color appears lighter so I can deal with it. I do like the French script print, and the chair and ottoman were easy to assemble. The chair is not comfortable at all, though, and my cats mostly sleep in it. I’d much rather have my money back than what has turned into an expensive pet bed.

I had to make some adjustments. From the reviews, I bought a pillow cover, and covered an existing pillow. The chair needed it. The seam down the middle of the back was distracting. And it was uncomfortable to sit without the pillow. Also my bed dwarfed the chair, so I took unused bed lifters and raised the chair 6 inches. I find having the ottoman lower more comfortable. So easy to put together and the seat is not hard at all. I like the color and linen fabric. I added the lamp and created a little reading nook next to my bed. Im delighted. Its sturdy, fits both me and my larger,, taller daughter, well made and makes me smile.

I purchased 2 and I loved the design of the chair and fabric. However in order for long days of setting one needs a back pillow. I purchased 2 pillow of the same design which can be seen a where the backrest meets the seat. There is a huge color difference in the main cream colors between the pillows and the chairs. They are so lightweight that I am amazed that I can pick them up with my bad back. And I was happy to see really wood for the legs on both the chairs and the footrest. It took maybe 5 minutes to assemble because I was directing someone with a learning disability on how to. So plus plus plus so far after about a week. No the next question is how do the stand up in a month or further out.

I needed a chair and ottoman for my bedroom to occasionally watch tv, and do computer work for my business. This fit the bill perfectly space wise and its very cute!! Good quality and doesn't look cheap. However, it is extremely uncomfortable in the fact that the cushion is hard as a rock. But it is removable and has a zipper so I plan on putting a more comfortable one in it, no problem! I would definitely NOT use this for anyone but myself, it's too uncomfortable for guests imo. It feels pretty much like a wooden chair for reference. The size is ok..I'm a 5'5" 147 pd female and I fit in it fine and its perfectly stable. I have it on carpet. I am a one woman show and was concerned about delivery, being that it's an oversized box but I had no issues whatsoever. It was delivered right to my porch, not unmanageable or frustrating to move into my home or unpackage. And since I'm "assembly challenged" and despise putting things together I was a little worried but even I had no problem screwing in the legs haha ;) I recommend highly for looks, not comfort or daily use as a lounging chair in a living room with lots of traffic unless you want to change out cushion. Price is awesome for a chair and ottoman. Overall a good buy. :) :)
