We have a 1899 home that we're remodeling/decorating, and our TV room is tricky, since it was actually expanded in the 1950s (originally a much smaller room). With that said, it has some strange dimensions, multiple doors on opposite walls etc., thus requiring some careful room planning (i.e., measuring each piece very carefully lol)! We have this lovely Chesterfield leather sofa, so I wanted to find a chair that would complement it, but also fit underneath the window - *and* be comfy for my husband. Kind of a tall order, BUT, this chair ticked off all of the boxes - it's super cute, low-profile, and the dark brown color really blends nicely with our couch! It's a tad firm, but I prefer that as I see it lasting longer vs. a chair that's too soft. It appears very well constructed, and being it's faux leather, it will be easy to keep clean. These chairs are attractive, sturdy, easy to assemble (just screw the legs on), and fit larger people just fine. I am the only person in my family under 6 feet and 200 pounds, and while these chairs are low to the ground, they have plenty of room. They are also as hard as a rock. I have contemplated changing the foam in the seat cushions and replacing the legs with taller ones, but since we are just using them for occasional seating, I haven't bothered. I did put 18 inch down cushions against the back, and they look very nice while upping the comfort factor. Overall, the price was right, and I am happy with the purchase. I wouldn't want to spend too much time sitting in them, though. They are more comfortable than dining room chairs, but only just. ... show more

I read the reviews and many complaints were the chair was too low too short. Against my better judgement I purchased the chair. Upon receiving the chair I was highly unsatisfied with height. Requested return shipping/ label. Took it to return $300 to ship back for a chair that cost $165 freaking ridiculous. Do not buy this chair unless you absolutely want it because the price to return is a joke!! Also hard and uncomfortable!! ... show more

Size is okay, smaller than average but comfortable. Even for people 6'6" who I've made test it out lol. But, if you sit more than 5-minutes, your buttons gonna hurt. I've never bought furniture without physically seeing it before. The purchase was easy..too easy... as it tends to be on Amazon. The chair was delivered on time. I unboxed it immediately. The chair is much nicer than expected. The pics on Amazon are true to the color and size. It looks classy and is surprisingly comfortable. Construction is solid.
