    • Hobby Grade RC at not so hobby grade price
So this is my first rc truck where i spent more then $65 bucks on 😂 This little truck is pretty quick with the stock 2S batteries that it comes with but I ordered a pair of 3S batteries just to see how much faster it can get and it is at least doing 40+mph . The truck feels so durable and I must say it's fun to drive this thing around. This thing is beefy too with the metal axles,hex wheel insert. Main reason that I got this is because Its 3S battery capable and because it has its differential in the center of the chassis which makes this lil Rig perfectly balanced cuz when it jumps it always seems to land on its 4 wheels,compared to other Rigs that makes this even more fun since u don't have to constantly be running to where the Rig flipped over,nope instead you can keep bashing. I noticed that on the review videos I had seen and it's true this Rig is well balanced. I was going to buy the MJX Hyper Go H14BM rig cuz it has a faster motor but from the videos i found on that thing, it is not well balanced so it's always flipping over and plus it is a smaller scale rc 1/14 compared to this 2997A 1/12. So even tho it is fast enough imo ima still upgrade the motor and esc and even the servo to something stronger/Faster just because 😂 So I highly recommend you buy this lil RC you wont regret it at all. 1 month update: so.it's giving me issues with the steering. When it takes off it'll go to one side and even tho the steering is straight. I might check the ateering buckles and adjust it to see if that works but we'll see. ... show more

The rc itself is great. It needs a fan for the motor though. The look is great, the build is good for a budget rc and the speed on 2s was good enough. I didn't even try 3s due to the motor overheating. I couldn't finish a battery. I know it was overheating because the new battery would not work either until after about about 15 minutes or so. All in all, great truck except for that issue. It could easily be fixed with a fan. Or larger heat sinks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my 2nd Haiboxing RC truck, love both of them and each one has their own uniqueness about them, but I'll focus on this specific RC truck. The Haiboxing 2997A is an awesome RC truggy..!!. It came with 2 (2s) batteries, but you can run 3s batteries on this one, which I've done and let me tell you, this thing is very fast..!!.. I've read some reviews of people saying it overheated on them, I have never once had that happen with mine, not even when running back to back 3s batteries thru it.. I had that over heating thing in mind tho so I was sure to check it for over heating frequently, they say if it's too hot to touch, then it's too hot to run, well I never experienced the over heating thing, not even on a 70 degree day, on black asphalt, after running multiple 3s batteries thru it..!!. Not only is this truck beautiful to look at, it's just a really fun truck to drive. As you can see in the video I attached, I've got a huge parking lot to run my RC's , I can really open them up on the straight aways and see what they can do, and I was not disappointed by the 2997A , not even a little.. I'm a very happy customer.. As for customer service? Absolutely top notch..!!.. The seller went far above and beyond just to ensure that I was a happy customer, so not this one but the very first Haiboxing truck I purchased was really my very first *real* RC truck, I'm about to turn 50 years old in 2 months, and the only experience I had with RC cars was way back when I was a child, and the RC cars we would play with had the car attached to the controller by a wire😂 The ones we played with you were lucky if you got a full day out of a brand new RC car before it was completely destroyed, to see how far these things have came along since my youth is really something, the technology behind these things are incredible, and in my humble opinion and with my very limited knowledge about RC cars and trucks, I gotta say that I think I've just gotten lucky and purchased one of the best brands of RC cars/trucks available today.. sure you could spend $1,000 and get that big name brand RC, hey if that's what you wanna do, I say go for it, as for me tho, being that I'm just starting in this hobby, I surely wasn't about to put down $700-$1,000 (or more) for my first real RC truck, from what I can tell it looks like Haiboxing has quite a few sub $200 RC cars/trucks , and I feel like the two I have (so far) are honestly some of the best on the market, in any price range..!!. Right now I've got my eye on the Haiboxing 1:18 brushless truck 👀, and I'm for sure going to be picking one up very soon.. Hey if you're looking at the 2997A and you're a little on the fence about actually buying it, I would say DO IT..!!.. you will not be disappointed, but don't just take my word, do what I did, watch every video you can find on this awesome RC truggy, read everything you can find online about it. I'm sitting at home right now, watching it rain, and just praying that the sun comes out so I can hit the parking lot and get some driving time in, even at nearly 50 years old, I wake up like a little kid and run straight to my Haiboxing trucks, trying to decide which one to take out first, love these trucks..!!.. ... show more
