I've owned Keurig and Cuisinart K-Cup coffee brewers before the Bella, and I haven't been disappointed. It takes up less space, is of good quality and has simple one button operation. The tank is large enough to make 4 10-ounce cups, is easy to remove and clean. I like it being on the side since I fill it with filtered water from a pitcher; simply remove the top and pour the water in. Many other makes have the tank in the back which is awkward to fill. The K-cup is easy to remove when hot using the handled insert, a great idea. The 3 fill sizes should be adequate for most people. Another nice feature is that the mug rest is height adjustable to keep the coffee from splashing out onto the counter. Put a cup on the rest, add a K-cup pod, press one button, out comes a hot cup of coffee and it even shuts itself off. It comes with an adapter for your own coffee grounds if desired. I love this coffee maker. It is very well designed. A small countertop footprint. A water tank that is located on the side of the machine so you can see how much water is left and easily remove compared to machines where the tank is in the rear. It also works very well and is easy to operate. There’s a k-cup basket and a grounds basket. Put the coffee in and your choices are 6, 10 or 15 oz cups. It makes the coffee quickly and quietly and heated to the right temperature. This is not a machine with a lot of features, but if you just want single-serve cups of regular coffee, I can’t imagine what else I’d want. It’s also inexpensive. While I don’t know if it will be as durable as my last machine that broke after 20 years, I can afford to keep replacing it every few years at this price. ... show more

I bought this to replace one from another seller here on Amazon my daughter had bought me for Christmas .. it only lasted 7 months before the control buttons stopped functioning properly. Overall, this one appears to be a little better made and, so far, functions well; here are my pros & cons: Pros: 1. The water tank holds enough water for 4-5 8-10oz cups; I normally only have 2, but if I have a guest, this perfect. 2. The removable-adjustable rack allows for easy accomodation our 'regular' sized cups, our larger mugs & most of our travel mugs. 3. Easy, one button operation; simply press the button for the size cup you want to brew. 4. Brew quality/taste is good. Cons: There really is only one that I've found; you are limited to three brewing sizes - 6oz, 10oz & 15oz. Ones I've owned in the past have offered a few more selections, to include 8oz and 16oz - both of which I used primarily. If you look at the cup in the picture with 49er emblem, it is the size of most of coffee cups; our old 8oz setting would fill the cup leaving enough room for a little cream if used; the 6oz setting on this brewer fill it a little over halfway & the 10oz setting will overflo. ... show more

    • Great Coffee Maker for the Price
My husband wanted to go back to a keurig but I wanted to keep using coffee grounds - this coffee maker was a great solution for us. Do I think it will last forever? No. But it was cheap enough that I won't feel terrible about replacing it in (hopefully) a couple years. It is easy to keep clean, easy to use and makes a cup of coffee quickly. I am not a coffee snob but we have had plenty of guests over while we have had it and no one has said anything about the taste so I assume it's fine! I also love that it does not take up a ton of counter space and is not too tall. My only minor complaint is I purchased the more eco friendly Trader Joe's Coffee Pods and this machine did not handle those well, for whatever reason the cups exploded all over while brewing so if you are going to buy this, beware of that issue! ... show more

I am very disappointed with this coffee maker. It stopped working after a short time, and despite contacting customer service, I never received a replacement. Poor product quality and even worse support. I would not recommend this brand.

    • Fast brewing with single serve options
I am a busy mom of 3 adult children living, working and studying from home during this pandemic. The single most important appliance in our home is a good coffeemaker to keep us all fueled and ready to go. The Bella coffeemaker is not new to me, but this updated version is much better than their previous versions. The best feature is the SPEED of brewing! After all, a few minutes in the morning counts, not to mention that my family appreciates the fact that they can speak to me sooner, now that this brewer does its job it 30 seconds flat! The quality is also much better than in the past as well. The traditional pod system in this brewer works great and the fact that you can adjust your cup height and ounces is now a standard in many single brewers. Some have the cartridge for using your own grinds, but this one is much better. The basket is larger, and the reservoir is a great feature. It’s perfect for a few people to grab and go without having to refill each time. The coffee is hot and fresh each time. I would recommend this coffeemaker to anyone who likes the convenience of a single brewer with the added bonus of a reservoir for a few cups and the ability of using your own ground blend. I do like a traditional pot for brewing 10 cups, but with everyone on different schedules, the coffee sits and eventually goes down the drain. I used a Williams Sonoma Open Kitchen single-cup brewer for years. I loved it. But the heating element died, which sent me on a frantic search for a new coffee maker. I found this, and it is clearly the exact coffee maker that was branded as WSOK - only for $30-40 less. It's one-button operational (no on/off, no menu, no nothing) with a removable water tank (on the left, which is more easily accessible than in back), takes grounds or k-cups, shuts off automatically, and has a movable drip tray. And, if you like extra-strong coffee, you can use 4 tbsp rather than the usual 2 of grounds with no issue. I am so glad I found the Bella so I don't have to pine over my poor, dead WSOK. I may even buy another so I don't have to freak if it, too, dies after several years of heavy use. My coffer maker is probably my most important appliance, and I'm telling you this one is a winner. ... show more

    • Not worth the money, even at this low price.
Updated: It needed to be descaled, so I did it. Worked ok afterwards for 2 cycles. On the 3rd one I opened the top and steam burst out and burned my right hand. No blisters, but the skin has been tender and pink for a week. I bought a new one, different brand. This machine was convenient, but it's just not durable enough to last a full year. Waited a few months so I could review this knowledgably. Not a fan. The price was good, the size and location of the water tank are good. Comes with the k-cup holder AND a cup to make your own k-cups (that's what I use the most). BUT - the size (in ounces) of your coffee will vary a little bit, which can be awkward depending on your cup size. And I find myself having to slap the top of the machine towards the end to get the darker water to come out, otherwise the coffee tastes weak. Sometimes a LOT of steam comes out of the top, which was alarming the first time I saw it. I thought it was smoking. I've had grounds pass through at times, but not very often so that's not a huge issue. Wouldn't buy it again, and I've been tempted to ask about the return policy. ... show more
