I bought this to replace one from another seller here on Amazon my daughter had bought me for Christmas .. it only lasted 7 months before the control buttons stopped functioning properly. Overall, this one appears to be a little better made and, so far, functions well; here are my pros & cons: Pros: 1. The water tank holds enough water for 4-5 8-10oz cups; I normally only have 2, but if I have a guest, this perfect. 2. The removable-adjustable rack allows for easy accomodation our 'regular' sized cups, our larger mugs & most of our travel mugs. 3. Easy, one button operation; simply press the button for the size cup you want to brew. 4. Brew quality/taste is good. Cons: There really is only one that I've found; you are limited to three brewing sizes - 6oz, 10oz & 15oz. Ones I've owned in the past have offered a few more selections, to include 8oz and 16oz - both of which I used primarily. If you look at the cup in the picture with 49er emblem, it is the size of most of coffee cups; our old 8oz setting would fill the cup leaving enough room for a little cream if used; the 6oz setting on this brewer fill it a little over halfway & the 10oz setting will overflo. ... show more

Unpacked this last night and set it up. I gave one of my kids my Keurig, which is digital, has more cup size options, is programmable and a larger reservoir, but I don't need all those options, and I didn't want to pay $200 for a coffee machine. This unit was exactly what I was looking for and the price is right. The design is uncomplicated. It fits even my largest travel mugs which my Keurig did not. Fill the reservoir, put your cup in and push one of three buttons. I wanted something to either use single-use pods or a filter to use my own coffee. This does that. It was a nice surprise that the filter holder is so easy to clean. The lid to the reusable filter is a bit flimsy so we'll see how well that holds up to cleaning. The water stream does sputter, so I was concerned about it spraying outside my cup. The drip tray has three height options though. So far my cups have been large enough to block any spray. I haven't tried my smallest cups yet. The instructions say to unplug after each use, but that could be cultural thing (in some countries they do not keep anything plugged in when it's not being used). The unit does have auto shut-off once the chosen brew cup size is filled. Overall, this unit fulfills my basic coffee-making needs for a reasonable price. ... show more

My old coffee maker would no longer read k cups, which is a known issue with them. I had to constantly deal with getting the proper k cups or refillable k cups that would work with the Keurig 2.0 until it just finally stopped reading them all together. This one doesn’t care, it will brew it. Also like that it can brew k cups at 15oz. Came packaged well with no issues. I did note that this felt more flimsy than the Keurig but at a third of the cost that’s expected. I will update with any issues, otherwise, consider it working fine. ... show more

Let's get the dislikes out of the way: price. Drainage. Making a cup of ... often leads to a small amount of liquid being stored up in the wells top area. Otherwise (the Likes) are that this is a very GOOD product! I'd take this over that other brand with a "K" any day!! 4 stars...

Have had it a month now and love it. We've gone through multiple Keurig's and compatibles, some costing hundreds of dollars, over the past few years. They all worked great until they didn't. So tired of fussing with these delicate machines, though I love the convenience, so decided to try a cheap version with the idea that it could easily be replaced without too much financial pain. Hit the jackpot with this one!!! Makes great, hot coffee, with almost no wait time. As a bonus it's quieter than other, more expensive machines.     • Great Coffee Maker for the Price
My husband wanted to go back to a keurig but I wanted to keep using coffee grounds - this coffee maker was a great solution for us. Do I think it will last forever? No. But it was cheap enough that I won't feel terrible about replacing it in (hopefully) a couple years. It is easy to keep clean, easy to use and makes a cup of coffee quickly. I am not a coffee snob but we have had plenty of guests over while we have had it and no one has said anything about the taste so I assume it's fine! I also love that it does not take up a ton of counter space and is not too tall. My only minor complaint is I purchased the more eco friendly Trader Joe's Coffee Pods and this machine did not handle those well, for whatever reason the cups exploded all over while brewing so if you are going to buy this, beware of that issue! ... show more
