I picked this up in the plum color, and it’s a great little waffle maker. It doesn’t take up much space which I like and the flip-and-store design makes it easy to tuck away when not in use. It heats up quickly and makes thick fluffy waffles that come out evenly cooked. The nonstick coating works well, so the waffles release easily and cleanup is quick. The flip feature helps with even cooking, and the handles stay cool enough to use comfortably. It feels lightweight but still sturdy enough for regular use. UPDATE: As of 1/31/26 I have updated my review to reflect the ease of the return process and the quality of the replacement product I received. I've used my replacement waffle maker several times now and find it to be very high quality. The nonstick performance is excellent with or without oil (applied with a brush only, instructions forbid spraying). The size of the waffle is ideal, I don't find them too small or too large. Both sides cook evenly and the timed light is adequate to provide a fully cooked waffle, although you could go longer if you prefer a crisper exterior. Cooks quickly enough that if you're making 4-5 waffles the first few will keep warm in a tortilla warmer while you finish up the batch. Having to wait a few extra days for the replacement was inconvenient but worth it; I'm enjoying this product and have recommended it to others. (Although some degree of credit may go to the waffle batter I use, the Krusteaz heart healthy pancake mix.) As of Dec. 10; will update review when replacement arrives and can hopefully be tested out. Was very excited to have a waffle maker again but the first arrived with chipped ceramic. Considered using anyways but decided not worth the health risk. Looking forward to replacement. This is the best Waffle iron I have I have had and I have had several this has a ceramic inside. All you have to do is either use that spray or take some oil and wipe it down and then you let it dry. I let it dry for about 45 minutes then I take a nice soft dry cloth, and I wipe it wiping between so that when you put this waffle iron away it doesn’t drip out because this waffle iron stands up when it’s closed, but that’s the best way to do it. It takes a less space. The light goes on when it is ready so you know exactly when to put it in. It doesn’t burn. It doesn’t take a long time to heat up and this is one of the best waffle irons I’ve had it’s very durable. This waffle iron makes the best waffles I’ve ever had. They’re not hard. They’re nice and soft. For what I paid for this, I think it’s one of the best and I didn’t pay a heck of a lot So if you want a good waffle iron this is the one you want. This is number one like I said I’ve had several and this is the number one best. ... show more

Let me just say… this item is very nice and easy to use. Extremely attractive And makes a great gift. It is non stick and very steam lined for storing. The plum color was fabulous. However, I’m returning because the waffles are large and the kids like them a bit thinner and smaller. Also, even though the plates are non stick, the durable material outside of that is hard to clean since I can’t submerge in water. ... show more

Overall, I would certainly give this waffle maker five stars. However, the only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that it does not brown my waffles the way I like them. I am using my own recipe and the batter is thick so as I understand it a thicker batter will brown better but this waffle maker does not. Terrible product, made several waffles in it, and used different recipes for it, the problem is that the heating unit in the top part of the maker doesn’t get as hot as the back of the maker, so that the waffle is half baked.I followed the manufacturer instructions, but the item itself is defective, so now I have to place it in the recycling bin, I can’t return it to the manufacturer because the return date has expired, please look at the picture posted, don’t waste your money on this product ... show more
