I’ve always had a black or stainless steel toaster and was so excited about the color options. I went for the tan color because I didn’t want it to stand out too much in my kitchen. It looks great! Even though it’s just a toaster the color really helped change the feel of my kitchen. I’ve only had it a few months but I don’t have any cons! Here are some of my favorite things: - The outside doesn’t get hot, and it has a really nice texture - The handles have a nicer feel than more traditional toasters - The slots are thick enough for bagels. Not a massive NY bagel but you already know you need a toaster oven for those. - It toasts well. No sudden burning or anything like that. - It’s very symmetrical which inspired my kids to give it a face. I let it go for 2 weeks. Because the outside of the toaster doesn’t get hot, our house didn’t catch on fire. ... show more

Love this toaster!! I read countless reviews on Amazon looking for one that didn’t say the toaster really gets hot on the sides and top. This one doesn’t! Also, when I found this one, I liked the looks, but thought I didn’t need one for four slices. Then I realized, my husband likes his toast light and I like mine darker. So we are always having to change the color dial. With this one we each have our own side and can leave the color dial where we want it! I also like the fact that this one toasts the bread more evenly than our other toaster did. I am really glad I chose this one! ... show more

Slight issue when I first ordered the 4 slice toaster, they sent me the longer version with only 2 slots but for my family I need 4 slots as my children have different toasting preferences, I did an exchange and got the correct one. As for the functioning this is a good toaster, it actually toasts at different settings from light to dark so everyone will be happy. The slots can handle bread to bagels but the size is slightly small, the bread I buy fits just enough (standard bread like Arnold or Pepperidge Farm) but it does fit. The color is very pretty and fits well with my ocean themed kitchen. My only issue is that although it has a crumb tray, crumbs fall through and get on the counter every time I use it! I keep the toaster pushed back when not in use and I slide it to the edge of the counter when using and then unplug and slide it back after use, when I slide it back there is always a mess of crumbs to wipe up so that is my only issue. ... show more

Reviews here on Amazon said the bread toasted evenly on both sides which is why I purchased this one. It does NOT toast evenly. I’ve tried it for two days in a row now and I get the same results. I looked inside when I was toasting and the heating elements are not the same intensity on the side that doesn’t toast as dark. I am considering returning it. Why in the world can’t they make a toaster that toasts evenly? ... show more
