  • NOT 720 Joules of Protection as listed.
Size: 2.5' Color: White
NOT 720 Joules of Protection as listed. I did unfortunately buy this product based on this spec. Read the detailed description. This is only rated at 555 Joules of Surge Protection and this is CLEARLY marked on the product packaging which is not represented online. Otherwise, I haven't anything more to add as of yet. For the price, Not worth returning for this misinformation, and I suspect it will suffice for my needs. I will update later if compelled to do so. ... show more

  • Outlets close together and no indicator lights, but does the job
Size: 6' Color: White
This Belkin 6-outlet commercial power strip/surge protector is okay, but nothing great. On the positive side, it has a heavy duty power cord, has a narrow design for tight spaces, and is reasonably priced. On the negative side, its outlets are too close together for adapter type plugs that are common on electronics these days. Also, it does not have any indicators lights on it whatsoever, which can be helpful in making sure everything is operating properly. We are, unfortunately, in the middle of an ice storm as I’m writing this review, with multiple power surges and outages occurring. I am happy to report the surge protector seems to be doing its job. ... show more

  • Wrong Clamping Voltage Listed
Size: 2.5' Color: White
Belkin listed the clamping voltage wrong on this surge protector. Both Amazon's and Belkin's websites claim it is 330V but it is actually 400V (as noted on the box and the surge protector itself). This difference could be enough for your electronics to fry in an electrical surge. It's really unfortunate that Belkin provides misleading information about this product - it seemed like a decent surge protector. ... show more

  • Stripped out right away
Size: 10' Color: White
Edit: After Belkin support engaged me in the comments section here on Amazon I contacted them and they did send a replacement. Now they sent me a 6 foot one even though I bought a 10 foot one. Ontop of that after their initial support, who was great to work with, sent it to their technical support I didn't hear anything for 3 months until one day I got a shipping notification of the RMA. Would have been nice to get any sort of message. I am going to use the 6 foot one, but I will have to use it in another location since its not long enough to replace the old one. I will say that the new one has a different cable and seems to more well put together than the last one, so I have hopes it won't have the same problem. Original Comment: This was great at first but within 8 months of owning, nothing would stay plugged in. All of the outlets on it stripped out. Belkin use to mean quality, now they use cheap parts that will not last. ... show more

  • Belkin lies
Size: 6' Color: White
Details matter. I measured everything carefully, then paid a little extra for Belkin thinking it was a name brand. Don't, it is not a 6 foot chord it is 5 foot 5 inches, which is a lie. If I said I was 6 feet on my license, but I was actually 5 foot 5, that would be a criminal offense. Belkin could care less. In this case, I not only lost the money on the chord, but the one time use adhesive cover. (Have to tear it off the floor and drive it to the UPS store, in the time of Covid-19 for a measly refund, no matter my wasted hours of time.) In the ubiquitous world of power strips, you would think Belkin would at least do what they said. Guess they saved 2 cents on those 7 inches. ... show more

  • Great with one caveat
Size: 4' Color: White
This surge protector has a few things going for it: it's cheap, it comes in many cord lengths, and the power switch is almost impossible to flip by accident. However, it also has one major flaw that prevents me from recommending it fully: there's no way to tell at a glance whether it's on or off, and this is a disappointing omission when most surge protectors have illuminating switches and/or status lights. For certain applications (for example, I'm using it as a master power switch for devices that are fiddly to turn off individually), this is a major irritation. That said, I realize mine is an edge case, and for the 99.9% of people who never need to turn off their power strips, this is a great, inexpensive "set it and forget it" solution that gives you the peace of mind of a surge protector and the security of a goof-proof power switch. ... show more

  • Pretty good considering the price
Size: 4' Color: White
Used this mainly as an extender than a surge protector. If you are thinking of getting this for surge protection for heavy power-consuming devices, would recommend spending a little more and buying something else. Like the form factor of the extender, but feel like it could have been designed better. Even though it has 6 outlets, I won't be able to use all of them, since the way they are arranged leaves very little space for an adapter to be plugged in between two 3 pin adapters. If you have something that has a big adapter, like a macbook charger, you'll end up blocking some of the other outlets; can't even turn it towards the ends since they are raised. I feel if the product was designed better, the outlets could have been positioned so that adapters would stick out the sides (turn the outlets 90 degrees). The on\off switch is not noticeable at first view, its on the side at the end. At this price though (less than $10), can't really complain much. It does what I intended it to do pretty well, gave me more sockets to plug in my devices, and the 4ft cable is long enough for me to tuck it discreetly behind my desk. The minimal surge protection is just a small bonus for me ... show more

  • Look at the way the outlets are arranged. You can only use every other one.
Size: 6' Color: White
This power strip works fine for cords that only have two prongs, but for three prongs it absolutely is useless. Note how the outlets are arranged. In a two prong cord, the cord comes out of the top of the connector, but in a three prong set up, the cord is attached to one side. Now imagine: there's an outlet right next to it. Can you fit another cord in that next outlet? No. They should have arranged it so that the outlets were rotated 90 degrees from the current organization. That way, it would not matter if you used the entire strip for cords with three prongs since the cord would have room. The material was good, the quality was high, but the person who designed this power strip was not thinking through using it with three prong cords. ... show more
