Just received this blanket, and washed it before use. Boy, were other reviewers right: it put out A LOT of lint! Tennis ball size of lint after 20 minutes in the dryer, a golf ball size after another 10 minutes. I'm not one to exaggerate so when I say that this blanket is so soft and cozy, I mean it. I got a Queen size because I prefer to be able to burrito myself. The knitting is thick enough to let cool air in but not so much that you will get cold. Just enough to keep you from overheating. My only complaint was that I needed to wash it when I first got it because it had an odor and was very stiff. But a quick wash made it perfect! I purchased this blanket as well as 2 twin sized of the same color. Even though I washed this one completely alone, it came out of the dryer with weird coloring on it, like faded spots the very first time. All 3 blankets continue to produce an inordinate amount of lint, even after washing and drying them 5+ times. It literally clogs the dryer, and I have to empty the lint trap multiple times per cycle. I feel like there will eventually be nothing left of the blankets after a few more times drying. I originally thought they were nice quality, but after the discoloration and continued lint I'm seeing that they do not hold up well. ... show more
