My 12 year old had a musical performance for a solo and ensemble contest and this dress was perfect. It’s modest, flattering, and doesn’t distract in any way from the task at hand. It is really a perfect performance dress to blend in rather than stand out. I did accessorize with a sparkly headband and belt since she was a soloist, on this occasion. Would also work well to keep in the closet for the occasional funeral. Cost was appropriate to the quality, and the size was spot on.

I get so hot chasing kindergarteners and being up and about all day but this dress kept me cool. It did fit nicely, even though I'm in the process of loosing quite a bit of weight. I did have to use a steamer, but it turned out beautifully!

I have ordered the Urban CoCo brand before and was very pleased. For this one particular dress it seemed to fit well, fabric nice and soft. Knit fabric is slightly thin (but not see through) and shorter than expected since description stated midi but was about knee length - I was looking for something slightly longer. I bought the black, steel blue and green dresses about two years ago. The black one is still ok (some pilling but you can barely tell) but the green and blue ones pilled so obviously that I had to throw them out, they no longer look nice. To be honest, I did wash them in the gentle cycle (I have a top loading washer with no central agitator) and dry them in the dryer on low, and I do not see the pills in the black one like I did in the others. I have worn them all many times and just recently noticed all the pills. I'm very disappointed, as I wanted to order more colors, since while the dresses were in good shape I loved how comfy and flattering they were to my petite and curvy figure. In fact I did order the purple (before I noticed all the pilling) but had to return it because the color was not as dark and rich as in the picture; as least I had no problems returning it. I am having better success with the tshirts and cardigan sweaters, which again, I wash in gentle cycle and tumble dry low, so far so good, but no more dresses from this company for me. :(

I reeeally wanted to like this dress. Truly, I did. It had so much potential being a flattering silhouette and such fun color options! However, even with a thick slip underneath, you can see right through it. It’s so disappointing because the length and cut were modest (which can be very hard to find) and it is t-shirt fabric which sounded comfortable but the fabric is so cheap and sheer that there was just absolutely no way it would work.

The dress was a perfect fit but the material was thinner than paper! Even with a full slip under it, it was to thin for my liking. It would be a good white cover for a swim suit or for someone in therapy who needs stretchy clothing and comfort while moving. It was just to see through in white. The other colors are fine. I would recommend this style, just not the white.
