I had a li-ion battery bank I wanted to charge. Most controllers either don't say or can't charge this type of battery properly. This one does. The manual is a bit dense, but has all the information to set up many common battery and solar panel combinations. It does appear to be efficient in charging, so I think I believe it is the better MPPT type. This one works well!

The first one I ordered the bluetooth would not connect. Amazon sent a replacement quickley. The new unit worked as it should and the bluetooth connected the first time. I am using it on two 50 watt panels in series (37 Volts) and controller does convert the 2.7 amps to 7 amps at 13.4 Volts (In full sun). Thats 94% efficiency, It's a great value for a MTTP controller compared to the cost of other MTTP controllers I have purchased and this unit has bluetooth monitoring.

Honestly this is the best sub-200 watt controller out there with the display and the iConnect app to go with it. I think the app could use some improvement, but overall the build quality and features surprised me. Wasn't expecting it to work this well. If you have a small array you won't regret using this controller. Also, there's a night and low battery mode with pulsing LEDs and a moon icon that looks pretty sick, but that's more aesthetic I suppose. ~ I'm hoping that the next version of Beleeb's higher-wattage controllers like the 40 and 60 amp get this same aesthetic plus an update to the app. (Looks really good friends!) Also I think if they put bigger terminals with 5/16 ring connectors and added load monitoring/history similar to these 'shunt' and battery monitor products out there, that would draw in even more customers..

After two days, I finally got this to work, but I don’t know what I did. The directions give you all sorts of information about what the buttons do but they don’t actually tell you how to make it work. Is it plug and play? Apparently not. The directions say that you can scroll the different options but it doesn’t then allow you to actually pick one because as soon as you scroll to it (I.e the images that show panel + charging+ battery) it and then continues to scroll away after 5 seconds. Holding the button did not select it. When I first connected this to the panel, it recognized the panel and voltage, but showed zero output wattage, even though when I plugged it into a different controller, the panel showed wattage. There is apparently some setting somehow that makes it recognize the wattage to get the green lights to reflect. Have no idea what it is but finally I got it to work. Hope it works next time. I need it. The unreliability of the directions make this probably 3 1/2 stars. But this could be a five star product if they would just explain how to reliably make it work and actually show the wattage and charge. Update: the version for $26 does not have Bluetooth even though Bluetooth is referenced lower on the page. This is a problem with the specs description and the seller has been informed, but to date no resolution.

This is hands down one of the best controllers for the money. The fact it comes with mc4 connectors pre installed is great. I just had to add a set of battery clips and I was all set. I did not read much of the literature or contact tech support just plugged it into a battery. Downloaded the Bluetooth app and was on my way. I have a go power controller on my camper and the Bluetooth app for this controller is 100 times better than the Bluetooth for go power.
