Top Amazon Reviews

  • Darn good, according to this rookie
Color: Stainless Steel
The media could not be loaded. First of all, I'll preface this with the disclaimer, that I knew virtually nothing about espresso makers before I purchased this. On a recent visit, my son had just purchased one, and showed me the basics. Then and there, I knew I wanted one. Once I got home, I briefly looked for one on Amazon. I found one that I liked the looks of, the price, and the reviews. As it turns out, I don't think I could have found a better one at this price-point. I've attached numerous pictures and one video of the items that come with the espresso machine. I have some holistic pointers to make, regarding the process of making my latte. If you've never done this before and you don't have a small milk pitcher to heat and foam your milk in, buy one. You'll also want to purchase a couple of espresso cups. I prefer ones with spouts, so it helps alleviate messes when pouring espresso into your coffee mug. When it comes to milk, choose whatever suits you. I prefer skim milk. Claims are made that the higher the milk fat content, the better the foaming action. It's true that whole milk foams somewhat better than skim. But I've discovered, that the vast majority of foaming ability is how fresh the milk is. You want milk with the expiration date out as far as possible. The age of the milk is 90% of the foaming capability. I found this out firsthand. Trust me on this. The espresso machine is wonderful. I'm currently drinking the latte (yum!) that I made while taking pictures and making the short video. It's the one and only espresso machine that I've ever used, so I can't vouch how it compares to others. But I've been perfectly happy with it. My son says that this espresso machine steamer foams the milk much better than his machine. That's a big plus. This machine comes with two different sized espresso containers. One is for a single shot and the larger one's for a double. There's a handle that one of containers of choice goes onto. The little flipper on the handle is to hold the container onto the handle when tipping the handle upside-down, when cleaning the used espresso grounds out of the container. It comes with a measuring spoon that's also equipped with an espresso tamper. You tamp down EACH level spoonful of espresso that's been placed in the metal espresso container. There's also a cleaning pin that should have come in a tiny, resealable mini baggie. The mysterious 3" black item is actually a plunger. I had to contact the vendor to find out what this item was. I had no clue. The plunger is used on the back of the machine where the water fitting is located. This plunger is only used if the water from the rear water dispenser won't feed into the machine properly. The plunger is used to prime the machine, in order to get the water to flow into the machine. I didn't have to do that. My machine worked just fine without having to prime it. Regarding the machine itself: 1. The top can be used as a cup warmer. It'll only warm your cup(s) if the machine has been on for a while. This is a nice touch. 2. Make sure you've put water into the rear water dispenser. 3. The dial on the right-side of the machine, has three settings. Left is for 'Hot water'. Up is for 'Coffee' (espresso). Right (steam symbol) is for steaming your milk. Before turning on the machine, verify that the dial is on the 'Coffee' setting. 4. There are three buttons on top. The top one is the power button. The bottom-left is for a single-shot of espresso. The bottom-right is for a double-shot. When you hit the power-on button, the two shot buttons will flash on and off for about 12 seconds. Once those two buttons stay on, the machine is ready to use. 4. Make sure to purge the steamer of any water that resides in the steamer. I guarantee there'll be water. You don't want water coming out of the steamer. You just want steam. Place a cup under the steamer nozzle and turn the dial right, onto the steam symbol. Water will shoot into the cup. Once the water is purged, turn the dial back to 'Coffee'. 5. When placing the handle of espresso onto the machine, line up the handle in alignment with the little lock 🔐 symbol on the machine. Then, attach the handle and rotate the handle counter-clockwise until the handle faces straight outward in front of the machine. This rotation is around 45 degrees counter-clockwise. 6. Place an espresso cup directly underneath the espresso dispenser. This is straight down from the espresso that you've just locked onto the machine. 7. Hit either the 'single-cup' or 'double-cup' button, based upon whether you want a single or double-shot of espresso. 8. If you want heated and foamed milk for a latte or macchiato, you'll be using the steamer. I'd recommend that you view a video on YouTube on how to do this, assuming that you've never done this before. Well, that's about it. This is a great espresso machine and I couldn't be happier with it. GRADE: A+ ... show more

  • Excellent Home Espresso Machine, Great Results and Save Money!
Color: Stainless Steel
I have zero experience with home espresso machines, but I sure know what good coffee tastes like, and this Beiooya espresso machine sure makes great espresso! What I love most is just how easy it is to use. You do need to read the manual to fully understand it. For example, I was not waiting long enough to let it pre-heat before using the steamer to froth my milk. Reading the manual helped me to understand the proper operation. It's really pretty straightforward and simple, though. Plus everything that you need, except the coffee cups, is included. So, you can get going making great coffee very quickly and easily. I also like the large water storage tank that is easy to remove and fill and provides enough volume for several cups of coffee. Overall, I have been extremely pleased with this home espresso machine and the results that I get with it. My wife has been happy too with the drinks that I can make for her. She likes that I can really tone down the sweetness of the coffee that I make. The coffee shop coffee that we get seems to be either straight up black and bitter or way too sweet. It's so much more satisfying making our own espresso drinks at home, adjusted to our personal tastes perfectly. Besides, I figure that within just a few months that this home espresso machine will have paid for itself with what we are saving by not going to coffee shops!!! Bottom line, the quality and ease of use of this machine means that I highly recommend it to others. ... show more

If you enjoy coffee and want to step up your coffee game, this is it! Simple to use, quick setup, easy clean up and an amazing value. You will taste the difference when making coffee using this expresso maker vs a regular coffee machine. • considered thoughts after 1st 120 seconds I've owned this
Color: Stainless Steel
- plenty hot, even with 120ml+ going through the doubleshot basket, poorly tamped. Assumed the first shot would be cool, 2nd cold due to reviews, burnt my mouth thank you very much. - fast. Can't see numbers on the pressure gauge, it starts pulling around 1/4 of the safe zone. I'm using starbucks beans which aren't real coffee, they're coffee flavor-sprayed road cinders that will deliver crema if you sneeze on them. So, crema, which is meaningless in my case. - I drink for effect. I wish they'd make a quad shot basket and give me the coffee beans for free; 120ml isn't for taste but it is effective, and you can set the amount of time of the pull (vs volume.) - 99.99999% certain it's a 51mm class, so if you're shopping for a tamper, distributor and/or funnel, shop for 51mm (a dist. I bought for a delonghi that lasted less than 120sec fits in this, measures 2", and 51s often say "for delonghi." Ordered a tamper base as I lost mine, filter, also lost, used a 43?mm calibrated for a Flair, not recommended. Pretty sure if there's any deviation from the rules and regulations you create channelling. Grind Starbuck's to fine mist, you won't care, coffee flavored coffee spray fixes everything which is why they do it.) - 1-2 months with the Delonghi that looks like this, runs ~$300. This one is far lighter which probably doesn't mean anything; ~1.3 double shots a day on the delonghi so there's my delonghi review. $370 flair that frightens me (og manual press' arms broke on first press, no threat of that with the Flair but I'd like it to last, so I won't use it until this dies. Like an American buying a Ferrari, driving defeats the purpose.) Flair expects this and includes a blown nice case; I'm constructing a glass walled garage for mine. My kid's friend takes it out for a pull in the middle of a parade in the downtown loop I'm gonna be pissed. ... show more
