I think many write reviews when they have a problem with their purchase. Understandable. So far this computer has been fine. I bought it for my wife. Like buying her a corvette when all she needed was a VW GTI. I bought a minisforum HX90 mini a year ago. Loved it. This Beelink was about half the price but with almost the same performance. I also got her a 4k 32" monitor. Though she isn't very computer savvy I think it is selfish to not give her a nice fast mini computer. Replaced an old all in one with a Core I5. I got 32 gig of ram since I think this is a must. Boots fast. Doesn't run too hot because let's face it she doesn't stress it. WiFi is ok but had hoped for a little faster. It's about 50% of Ethernet speed. The Bios is very basic and the CPU cannot be overclocked. I expect these will be a better deal on Black Friday but I didn't want to wait. Windows 11 pro is over $150. And this mini is $350. Hmmmmm. May want to consider getting a mini computer. If I have future problems I will update my review. ... show more

The performance and price are exceptional. I also really like the size. It fits my ham radio setup perfectly, running two monitors and driving a USB hub to connect everything. It worked great out of the box. No problems on setup. After about two months, it started to crash. Restart would sometimes work. At times on restart it wouldn't be able to find the wi-fi or bluetooth hardware in the computer. After pulling the DC power connection, it would reset and restart fine. But still had a once in a while crash. I found the Beelink support page and the support email. Forwarded my problem. They responded the next day with suggested troubleshooting actions and asked for serial number, receipt, and BIOS screen shots. I tried all their recommendations but it still crashed. At that point, support said to send it back to a USA address. It took them a couple of weeks to confirm that it arrived, even with the FedEx proof of delivery. It appears that they only check arrivals on Fridays from what's accumulated during the previous week. Once they confirmed it had arrived, they shipped a replacement and provided tracking information. It arrived quickly. The replacement unit matched the original specification except that instead of the original unit's two HDMI ports, this one has one HDMI and one DP port. It still works fine for my setup but with one different cable. The folks running the email support always responded within a day and were helpful. There was just a long delay reviewing what happened in the USA with return of the computer. Once that happened, replacement was fairly quick. The replacement is working well so far. ... show more

Using this as a Plex server. Day and night difference compared to a mini acepc it replaced. I haven't seen my ram go above 50% everything loads fast. Played days gone with no problems. But I will be trying more games cause I will also use this to play games. I did have a problem were I could not removed the Xbox controller I linked through blue tooth. Windows was telling me there was no Bluetooth on the device and I didn't see Bluetooth in device manager. Eventually windows help told me to power off the device from the power button. Unplug it for a while then plug back in. Seem to had worked as all is well now. I will update this review if I run into other issues ... show more

i just watched the SER5 video again after opening mine up and putting more ram in there. the video mentions a copper cooling plate and fan. mine did not come with that. i was wondering why it was running so hot even before the ram upgrade. i am running a desktop fan pointed at it 24/7 to keep it cool. is there some way i can get sent that piece that is missing? thank you! ... show more

I purchased this to replace an old PC to run Blue Iris security camera software. I'm running 5 4MP and 1 8MP camera with 5s pre-trigger on all cameras. CPU usage toggles between 0% and 10% depending on the number of cameras triggered at one time. Code Project AI is also running on this PC to analyze the camera triggers. Everything is well build and works right out of the box. I did purchase a 2nd hard drive to store the camera recordings on as the SSDs can't stand up to the high number of erase/write cycles. ... show more

I bought this to play older games like Fallout New Vegas which it does flawlessly. I installed Sons of The Forest and it actually works pretty well so long as you're running it on lower settings. Install a better gpu on this and you'd have a pro gaming mini pc.

I buy and set these things up professionally, and I've done dozens of installs. I like 'em. They are quick and stable, and my clients like the small footprint. It's true that they don't game as well as a big tower with an expensive video card, but all of my installs are for office work or casual computing. That says something. Most folks aren't really gamers. Don't tell Nvidia. I like hanging them on the back of a monitor, and running 2 large monitors from them. They start quick, run fast, are quiet and dependable. I’ve had this little pc for 2 months, and it really has impressed me. It’s used as a work from home desktop. Has handled spreadsheets, email and coding applications with ease. Everything just works and that is important to me. Has enough memory to handle multiple applications at one time. Bottom line cost was good and performance is better than expected.
