It has a clean, minimal design that looks great in modern builds, and the overall build quality feels much better than what you’d expect in this range. One thing I liked is that it comes with enough cables and connectors for a full high-end setup without needing adapters or compromises. Plenty of support for modern GPUs, multiple drives, and additional components while still keeping cable management pretty clean. Performance-wise, it’s stable, efficient, and quiet under normal use. The 80+ Gold efficiency is a nice bonus, especially for gaming or workstation PCs that stay under load for long periods. Overall, it feels like a very balanced PSU if you want something reliable and good-looking without overspending on ultra-premium models.

Great psu, I have had evga, and corsair psu's in the past. This has a better build quality, better cables (sleeved). And the fan is so quiet i thought it wasn't running or broken, until i used a flash light to see it spinning. I am glad nzxt make such high quality psu's for a great price. I am running a 9950x3d and a 5070. I will update in a year for longevity.

I decided to try this NZXT power supply because it will fit in tight cases and has received an A-list rating. I put it in a new, fairly undemanding Linux build. So far, it has worked flawlessly. That is all I know and all I want to know. The cables are nice and it included everything in the Amazon description. I do not anticipate ever thinking about it again. In the past, I’ve only bought Seasonic and Corsair PSUs. Now I can add this NZXT model to my safe-to-use list. Don’t skimp on your PSU!

This is such a high quality power supply for the price, it's got everything you need and some! . I have future proofed my build because this is also got ask the components you to upgrade to AM5 . This is hands down the best power supply I've ever owned and the smart zero fan switch keeps it very power efficient and the 850Watts gives me plenty of extra head room to upgrade. I'm positing this with a Ryzen 9 5900X and an MSI GEFORCE RTX 4070 VENTUS X3 12GB. I'm very happy with my purchase !

I've been running this for a few months now, and it's perfect! Runs super quiet too, which is a major plus. The cables themselves are also solid. I like that they are braided, but they aren't as thick as braided extension cables you typically see with other builds, so if you're going after that type of look, I would still drop a few more dollars for extension cables.

Core vs C-Series?

It's difficult to determine the difference between the regular C-series and the Core version. The description sure doesn't help, and it appears to be a matter of how the connectors at the PSU are configured, not actual capability or functionality. It appears that the Core version is "newer". The lower price may indicate cheaper components (at similar functionality), but I couldn't find out if that's the reason. I ended up with the Core version, and it powers my RTX 5080 and another RTX A4000 (different tasks) just fine. One is connected via the ATX 3.1 power (up to 600W) and another with a traditional PCI-e cable (6+2 pin with the 2 pins separated and not used). Aside from the confusing versions, it's quiet and so far powers my computer just fine. Unlike previous versions, the included cables are not shrouded in a mesh sleeve, and that helps flexibility a bit while not necessarily looking better. But it works well. There is a warning not to use cables from other PSU, including prior C-series, but it's not clear why a C-series cable could damage anything. Fortunately, all necessary cables were included with the PSU.
