As a newbie to beekeeping I bought this product...everything was great until the weather heated up. Full 100% cotton is super hot so now as a beekeeper of 4 weeks I am in the market for the mesh style jacket with the same head cover design...which costs more than this item. So now this item will be great to insure "guests" are well protected when I show them the 2 hives in the future, while I now will buy a mesh jacket with head gear and I no longer use gloves or other protection as my bees are very calm...fyi...I believe calmness is related to the origin of the queen & avoidance of squishing bees while in the hive. ... show more

im 5-8 and 180#--I bought the XL for roominess--and the easy of putting it on over regular clothes--so far so good--I like it--you can also fit a ball cap on your head for an added lift to the veil
