The helmet is fine for the price, the adjustable tension has the rotating knob to help fit to your head. It loses a star due to the visor thing - it doesn't easily move up or down with one hand, the plastic is not very smooth/clear so it distorts your view, it is really close to the face so it might touch your nose, and it only covers the area where your normal sunglasses would be, so you can't wear glasses and use it together. ... show more

This helmet is great for my needs. It fits under the seat of my 50cc scooter. It doesn’t feel hot on my head. The ratcheting clasp on the chin strap is easy on/off and insures a snug fit. The shield is very cheap, tab to pull down is garbage. Read other reviews can’t use with glasses to close to face. Gave 4 stars because helmet is worth the money without the shield.

I purchased the helmet for my wife to ride our Vespa. She didn't want a full face helmet so at around $40 this was a steal. The helmet is constructed well and meets DOT safety standards unlike other helmets sold on Amazon that are more for looks than safety.
