I was very hesitant to order bunkbeds online without seeing them, but I took the plunge with these after reading the reviews. What a GREAT decision!! They arrived in a timely manner, without any damage. There are a lot of pieces to put together, and you need to pay careful attention to the directions. I put the first set together by myself, but it was much easier with two people on the second set (couple of hours). Besides their crisp, bright white finish and nice head-room on the lower bunk, what I'm most pleased with is the quality and sturdiness of these bunks. They are SOLIDLY built (no shaking or wobbling) with plenty of crossbar support. I feel confident our adult guests will sleep well in these. One upper rail did come warped. I contacts Bedz King's customer service via email, and within 2 hours, they had shipped out a replacement part via FedEx-AMAZING customer service! I ordered a bunk bed they got awful reviews, I'm canceling the order right now for some reason, why still sent the metal bed, I now had two double bunk beds which I know I had to return one, but which one? Was very skeptical. Although I like the wood in the review I gave it, I tried I heard that the metal bed gives static. I decided to go with these guys. I know nothing about setting up a bed or a bunk bed! It came in 2 distinct boxes very neatly packed. I ask God to help me put that together and He did it was so easy, My boys 10 - years, 12 years and I put it up it was very easy, that's for sure, it's the best bunk bed ever! I verify all the furniture of the brands, none of their products is superior to this one. I highly recommend. Reviews tell the truth, they give you enough slats not need a Bunkie board. I love it pls don't spend your money anywhere else. It works for me, it can work for you. ... show more

Excellent bed! The only two things I did not like much were the fact that it is all made of pinewood and the fact that there are two types of screws that have the same size but different threads (more details later). In regards to the type of wood used, some select parts could be done with better materials. For instance, the slats and the side rails could be made of a more sturdy wood. Last, if you don't pay a lot of attention during assembly you may damage the half moon bolts that come with the bed. The bolts are made of soft metal and are not super solid. Furthermore, there are two types of screws that have the same length but two different threads. If you use the wrong screw you will destroy the half moon bolts and have to order more. Last, as the side rails are made of pine, you have to be careful with the amount of pressure you apply on the screws not to split the wood. All that said, it is a good bed and I would buy it again. Some of the issues can be easily fixed with a bit of work. For instance, the slats can be easily replaced with mdf if you go to your hardware store and ask them to cut new slats for you. ... show more

With 7 kids, we have owned many bunk beds including others that didn't hold up or were not functional and sent back. This one is GOOD!!! The end ladder is a huge bonus and works perfectly with our room. This bed is taller than others and gives ample room on bottom bunk. I appreciate the extra tall railing on the top bunk. Overall, this bunk bed is good enough at such a price level. It’s made of all solid pine wood. The height between two beds is comfortable for an adult to sit on the lower bed. It’s just what I need for my two kids. But I am sorry that I still have to take one star away. First, there are two packages in all. But Fedex just delivered one to me at the first day. And it was said that it had been delivered at Amazon’s system. After contacting the seller, the other package was delivered some days later. Second, there are some sunk parts due to the delivery defects. But as they are large packages, it’s too hard to return or exchange. I just accept it because it won’t effect much while using. Third, the most crazy thing when I assembling, there are some holes too shallow so that I have to adjust those wood slots accordingly by myself. It did cause some troubles. 2 person job- 4 hours. Left my home smelling like fresh cut wood for a week but no biggie. Well worth it. Bed is long enough for a growing 11 year old that’s 62 inches tall and 100lbs. She loves it. She has a lot of clearance on top of the bed to the ceiling. There’s adequate clearance for an adult who’s 64in tall to sit comfortable on the bottom bunk. The people who delivered the multiple pieces were amazing and careful. For the extra fee, they brought it upstairs to my daughters’ room with no issue. Definitely worth the upcharge. ... show more

    • Nice Solid Wood Bed
This is a nice quality bed and a very good price for a SOLID WOOD bed. I refuse to buy pressed board furniture due to the health risks associated with the chemicals they use and this was the perfect alternative. It was pretty easy to put together and I did it by myself. My only critique is that only one of the beds came with a support beam that runs from head to foot of the bed. It has one for the top bunk which makes it very secure but I worry if I were to lay in the bottom bunk to read my kids stories it feels a little flimsy (I weigh 175lbs and my child weighs 30lbs) so that is not really a lot of weight to feel the bed rails flex when you lay down. I wish I had a support beam for the bottom bunk which would take care of this issue and I would have zero complaints otherwise. ... show more
