I originally bought a twin size to use as an oversized throw. Loved it so much that I bought 2 more in the actual throw size and just ordered a queen! My cat also LOVES these! He’s very old and has some arthritis so I fold one of the throws so that he can just sink in. They are VERY warm! The three that I have, have been washed A LOT because of the cat and they’ve held up way better than expected. The Sherpa side isn’t as soft as day one, but still very nice considering the amount of washing and drying. Worth every penny for sure! ... show more

This blanket is sooooooo soft and sooooo warm! In fact, I get hot many nights (and I live in Pennsylvania and it's starting to get very cold this time of year). I have washed it several times now (cold to luke warm water) and it has kept its color and not change in the fluffiness and no pilling at all! I try not to overwash though for sure - though the drying part is what I think would do damage to the softeness of blankets. As for the rating of 3/5 in light weightedness - I wouldn't expect it to be lightweight at this size and warmth. It's not super heavy but it's not intended to be either. It's warm and cozy. This blanket is so warm and cozy and it gives a real "boho" vibe to the bedroom decor that appeals to me. I love that it's a sherpa fabrication on the underside! My only complaint really is that over the 3 times I have laundered it to date the "fur" has matted considerably and it's just not staying the way it looked in the beginning. It's still beautiful if you don't inspect it closely, and of course it is still functional! I still want the rose colored one! But I would love to have any kind of suggestions as far as keeping it fluffy and more like it looked originally, if the seller is so inclined! I got it for a great price around Black Friday so the price was affordable for my family, and we love that too. ... show more

Amazing throw that is pretty shaggy and thick on one side and thick without shaggy on the other side. Holding it up you feel the heavier weight and see the additional thickness instantly. The entire throw is so darn soft, and I am so happy I ordered the product. I'm using mine in the car this winter, another family member is ALWAYS hot and freezes me out with the car window open in cold weather. Fall picnics cover up always at hand.
