Right away I’m going to let you know that I’m almost always cold. I’m on warfarin for the rest of my life so I live in a state of perpetual cold. I’ve had this warming blanket for almost 2 days and so far I’m loving it. It doesn’t get very hot, it gets warm. Supposedly it has 6 warming settings but to me each setting feels the same. When you’re all snuggled up with it you’re nice and toasty. These heated blankets will no longer get hot. It says right in the booklet they are now following a world wide standard that’s safe for everyone. I say give us heat, as much as we want but that’s no longer acceptable. If you want it to get really hot you’re out of luck. If you’re looking for a soft, comfortable warming blanket that will keep you toasty consider this one a viable option. Love this and how soft it is. I think I would have gotten a size bigger, as i got the throw and I wish I had more to cuddle in. The throw is a good size for a child but I would get the twin or queen next time. The length is a big short and my toes stick out. I am 5'5 so I thought it would be okay but next time I would go for the size up. It is very warm and heats up perfectly. Super soft and I love the way it feels.
