I like how this blanket is very soft and plush and feels really nice to the touch. I like how it’s constructed to be warm and is warm just as a regular blanket without any power at all. I like how the controls are simple/effective and how the 3hr default timer is set intuitive for most use I like how the highest heat setting seems sufficient even when really cold, and that it heats up fast helping to better thaw out my feet that can get cold as ice. I like how being a shorter throw model doesn’t take away from it’s effectiveness and that its smaller size even helps make it easier to manage. I like how upon ordering that the manufacturer emailed me guidelines for safe use/operation I like how other than the big plastic sticker they put on it that there’s very little that I don’t like. Long review details Although this blanket is very soft and plush, it’s thin enough that you can still easily mold it to follow your shape. But with it’s construction being on the thin side, you are reminded that it is indeed an electric blanket because you can feel the heating cables within it's build which start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches inward from the outer most edge/border, but I haven’t found the feel of them to be at all off-putting either. I didn’t like that some spots seemed to heat up more than others but over all that’s also pretty minor and that most importantly it does warm up quickly. I also didn’t like that the handheld controller itself tends to heat up a bit when on the higher settings adding some worry to its safety but I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had issues otherwise; and, I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. For more precaution I initially got in the habit of hanging my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out and be cool" and that does seem to help it dissipate heat better; but I also often use it while on the couch with the controller right on top of me or with it sometimes ending up off to the side or even under me, but still haven’t had any issues. This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller in terms of size management because while I'm also using other regular blankets with this (only when its really cold, and when I might lay one blanket on top of this one to better hold the heat in) on my lower half to add more heat where it’s needed most for my legs and especially my feet that can often get cold as ice, and this really helps with that. I do often use it on the couch but either way I always use it with a flannel sheet which not only works well for adding extra warmth but better helps to distribute the heat and has also been very effective in keeping it cleaner longer and so effective that I haven't had to wash it yet. This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality in comparison to models more expensive, but despite that its issues have been minor, and it’s been working really well for me over what's been now its second cold season or second year and it’s still keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but again, it's going into its second year of daily use (when it’s cold), and I can recommend it with a full five stars.

So soft! Let me tell you this heated blanket has kept me warm during the coldest nights. It does not shed. It’s light so you add it on top of another blanket it. The durability on it. I have spilt things on it I have let my dogs play on it and it’s still brand new in shape it’s definitely an amazing gift for Christmas!

Overall the blanket is good and does the job and keeps warm, but for some reason it's not heating evenly. I'm not sure if mine has an issue or it's just how they designed it, but sometimes one half is heating while the other half is not. It's switches around so it's not that a specific portion of the blanket is not working, it feels random. I got the twin size and use it only for myself so it's not a big issue for 1 person, but keep this in mind if you are planning to use the blanket with someone else and cover together.

This is a very nice blanket. The blanket heats quickly and provides warm cozy comfort throughout the night. Controls are easy to use and easy to see in the night darkness. Loving the softness of the blanket and its sherpa backing. With my previous blanket I had to use a flannel sheet with the blanket (in addition to the regular bed sheets) to hold the heat (or wake from being chilled). Not a problem with this blanket. This blanket is both warm and fluffy, and my cats love it. I like how it has a longer timer than my previous one, so I don't wake up at 6am to set the timer again. Instead I get to enjoy my usual 6-8 hours undisturbed. Plus the color is gorgeous!!

Exceed my expectations. It had small odor when opening package, threw in washer on gentle cycle then dried on low heat in dryer, came out great. 1st night used the preheat setting then lowered setting to 2 about one hour in was too hot and turned off. 2nd night preheat again, this time turned off before sleep. 3rd night just right- set to low and slept on all night did not use preheat. Blanket is very soft and cozy. I use a sheet then blanket no other covers.

I really liked the blanket construction. It heats well and is very warm even when the electric is turned off. It has two identical control boxes that wire to two separate controllers. This makes it very easy to know that you have the correct controller on the correct side of the bed. The controllers have the ability to automatically turn off/on by a timed schedule that you set. The display is easy to use and easy to view. The blanket controls; however, do have a couple design problems that, if corrected, would make it a great 5 star deal. 1) The length of the wiring from the blanket plug to the controller is too short. On a queen or a king size bed, it lacks about four inches of being able to set the controller on a night stand that is right against the head of the bed. This occurs, if the wiring is ran underneath the bed, per the installation instruction given with the product. My head board is solid with no openings except below the level of the bottom of the box springs. I had to fasten the wiring to the side of my box springs in order to allow the controllers to set on my night stands. I believe it will work alright. The only other option would have been to splice additional wire to lengthen the control wiring. 2) The controllers lose all settings if the power button is turned off. This is not a big deal, but it would be really nice to just press the on button and have the settings to be still present that was working for you before when you shut it off, or when the power dips off temporarily. Overall, I think it was a good purchase and so far has performed it's job.
