Well worth the money, im somewhat of an audio snob my primary home theater 7.2 with all the bells and whistles i paid thousands. $900 for just one of the subs 😆. I have to say this vizio sounds great for less than $200. The timbre match is superb. I wasnt even planning on using the surround speakers but boy do they sound "goot" and that little sub if you place it correctly it sounds like a 10in mid level sub. This is making me feel like I wasted my money on my primary treater. Ima buy another vizio, ima get the higher end one to see what it do 😆. Im impressed and I have it connected straight to the tv, you dont even need a receiver, I could only imagine if I had it hooked up to an AV receiver. ... show more

Slight hiccup, but very happy customer
TL;DR - Knocking off two stars for quality controls, but adding one back for customer service. I've had a few sound bar systems, but my absolute favorite was a Vizio I'd had since like 2013 that finally bit the dust. I currently have a Samsung Q990H for my primary setup which is, of course, the bomb, but needed something to replace my beloved Vizio. But alas, they're apparently not producing them anymore. This one was a refurb, I knew that going in. But the price was great, so I took a chance. The first one I received, the satellite speakers (both left and right) were completely dead. But that's where the excellent customer service comes in. The seller agreed to replace the item and even paid for the return postage. The 2nd unit I received works perfectly, and I couldn't be happier. It sounds great, with decent bass from the subwoofer and clear, crisp dialog from the center speaker. I know a lot of people skip the satellite speakers these days, but I enjoy the added depth they provide. Set up was easy (I do hate having to have the extra app on my phone to control it though, since there's no compatible remote), and the subwoofer was already paired... just had to plug everything in and download the app to make sound adjustments. I recommend it if you're looking for a good system at a reasonable price, and a seller who stands behind their product. ... show more

Terrific upgrade!
I’m familiar with Vizio. We had a much cheaper soundbar from them for a long time but it was time to upgrade and our LG tv would handle the 5.1 so this seemed like the system for us. What a great sound! And I also really enjoy the Vizio app to control it with all the extra eq settings. It goes up and down in volume with tv remote too. The center speaker finally gives voice the ability to turn it up. Love it! Great system ... show more

Voices hard to hear even with DTS and sound is quiet
Connected this to my Vizio 75" and it recognized it immediately. I adjusted all the settings for max performance and sound quality, then fired up a movie on Netflix. I was disappointed with the quality, having to turn the sound up to 100 to listen to it comfortably. I thought I must have screwed up the settings somehow, but upon checking, everything was correct. I'm not sure if this refurbished model has a defective output for some reason, but I sent it back immediately. ... show more

Great product
This is an awesome product. Everything is color coded and easy. Plug the hdmi in the arc and your tv remote will work seamlessly with it.
