While the blanket does shed when you dry it and may take extra time to dry, it’s a super cozy blanket that’s keeping us warm during the cold months while we sleep. I really love this cotton waffle blanket. I've never had a cotton blanket before but saw this one recently and was intrigued. The other reviews are true, it does create a LOT of lint, but it seems like this is reduced by washing and drying over time. I've had it for a week and have washed and dried it twice. I'm having zero lint issues in my bed or room that I can see. Just make sure you clean out your lint trap after a dryer cycle!! I will say it did come with a loose thread or two like some other reviews showed. This doesn't really bother me, but can see why it might others. It's initially not a super soft blanket compared to some other materials but I also get the impression that will change with washing, drying, and natural wear. Its well made and seems like something you could have for years. And despite this I still find it super cozy! It's just soft enough and has a great breathable feel. My favorite way to sleep with it is on the outside of one of my softer blankets. I adore how it feels as a second layer and it looks so cute. It's not super thick but I don't believe it's supposed to be. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good cotton blanket!

At first I was hesitant to purchase this blanket because of some of the reviews on drying the blanket in the dryer. Some reviews said that the blanket gave off too much lint and almost ruined their dryer. I decided to order the blanket anyway. Before washing the blanket, I ran it on Air Dry for 30 minutes , there was not much lint at this point. Then I washed the blanket and put it in the dryer on medium for 30 minutes (I put it on a 30 minute cycle in case the lint was too much) at 30 minutes the blanket was not quite dry, the lint filter was full but no more than expected with a item of this kind. With the lint filter emptied, I set the dry for 30 more minutes, had about the same amount of lint as the first 30 minutes. I have to say that this blanket washed and dried perfect, it did not shrink and is very comfortable, light and warm. If you are concerned about drying the blanket, try it at 30 minute intervals, other than that the quality of the blanket is very nice. I would purchase this item again.

My favorite cotton thermal blanket finally expired after several years of excellent service, so I needed a replacement. Goals? Comforting cotton, sized appropriately, a good knit that wouldn't encourage pulls, not too heavy or too light, and above all . . . soft soft soft. This blanket proved to be just what I wanted. As for the ongoing comments here about lint shedding in the wash, I offer two words in response: ***so what?*** I have washed my new blanket once so far, and the worst that happened was that I had to clear the lint filter in the dryer a couple of times. In my book, that's well worth it.

This is a very nice blanket. It's generously sized and adds a comfortable degree of extra warmth when placed under a comforter. It does bother me a little that the side edges seem to ruffle, but I doubt that will have any effect on the blankets usability or life span. The blanket suits my needs perfectly, and I'd be happy to buy from this manufacturer again. One caution is that the blanket snags very easily, so be aware of that. I purchased this blanket from Amazon.

My boyfriend cannot stand sleeping with the comforter as he gets hot so easily. We brought this blanket to put as the first layer of our bed, skipping sheets and we love it. It is light weight but warm. It also has a nice little texture to it making it stylish.

This is the best blanket I have ever purchased. I love the waffle knit and how lightweight it is but how it keeps me warm and cool at the same time! It’s absolutely perfect. I bought it for my bed and I got a throw now as well. I’m recommending it to everyone because it’s so nice for such a great price. First wash and dry a ton of lint will come off but once you get past that it’s perfect!

While I love the blanket itself, people must be writing these reviews on day one. I don't understand how its rated so high. Mine has 100 pulls all over it now. They started small but are only getting longer. I am not a very violent sleeper, and the blanket hasn't left my bed. The pulls are now even much worse than when I took the photo in the review about two weeks ago. Some of the pulls are now six inches long in places. It's only been on my bed about a month and a half. It looks so bad that I am already shopping for a new blanket and will donate this to the animal shelter. The color is nice, and it feels very soft and comfortable so 3 stars. But the fabric weaving wasn't durable at all.
