The battery didn’t last. And will not charge. I got 5 porter cables tools and can’t use them

Ordered 2 ,one has shorted out ,have not hadabout 3 months. Not very happy with this product!

    • There is no cover of the charge check button for one of the two batteries.

After unpacking, I saw that the cover of the charge check button on one battery was missing. This does not prevent you from using them. Unless the dust will now get into one battery.

    • Great replacement batteries
Was excited to find LI batteries to fit my old? Porter Cable tools. Tools run better than ever. And a lot cheaper than buying new tools. Did have to get a new charger. So far they perform as advertised. My little 6 1/2” saw has more power and run time with these batteries. They fit fine

    • These don't work. Buy 3 and get one good one. Got the same result on 4.0ah batteries in the past.
I bought 3 of these and one worked. Used them to power an ice auger and two batteries now will cut one to two holes thru ice 14". The good one of the three will cut 15+ holes. Old 4.0 ah does 12+. This is from full overnight charge on a Lithium charger. Don't bother buying these.
