I like the size, shape and brightness of this lamp but the shade did not come with anything to "lock" it in place, so easy to dislodge it when pulling the chain on and off. Not a deal-breaker but you have to be a bit careful.

You truly never know what your getting when buying online but this one is everything I needed. It arrived well protected which is important with a product like a lamp. After being plugged in it literally looked exactly like the Amazon product page pictures. It turns on and off as described and I haven't experienced any issues. I had two needs. I had a nightstand with no lamp, and I needed a place to charge my phone at night. This accomplished both tasks with no issues. My son (8yrs old) was able to put this together in about 15 minutes with very minimal supervisor and it looks great and doesn't appear to have any electrical issues, scratches or anything else wrong with it.     • Attractive and simple, but careful with the shade
This is a very nice small table lamp. You don't need instructions to put it together very quickly and get it turned on. The shade is attractive and the bulb that comes with the lamp is bright. The height of the shade gives off a good amount of muted light. The base is heavy enough so that when you pull on the chain cord, it stays in place and the lamp turns on and off easily. The chain also gives it a great look. My issue is the cardboard shade. The shade is covered in a nice light fabric but unfortunately the shade will dent from the delicate cardboard and not necessarily get back completely into place. Along the seam is where this was worst. If you take care not to push in the shade and have this on a night stand, it should do fine. Attractive and classy looking, but the shade should be able to take more than a light touch to dent it. ... show more
