Alittle hard to install. I had to get my nephew to help. If you elect to not wrap the belt around your mattress, (which was the hard part) it will work just as well. Either way it is study and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Rather than annoy my husband, he actaully feels more comfortable sleeping knowing he cannot roll off the bed. Plus the pocket thing attached is great. Initally thought he wouldn't use it, but its really convenient, for books glasses, cough drops etc....I recommmend this and will buy it again for another house.

Liking how long this railing is. Not only does it protect a longer amount of space from going over the bed. People who have a hard time moving around can also benefit from this because you can utilize the railing if need be. Its easy to put together and is sturdy for when you need it. I like it a lot and glad to have it!

Grabbed this to help our mattress topper stay in place. It slides off the top of the mattress sometimes with my rough sleep. Judith ends up with none on her side. LOL This has been working pretty well. I also like the fact that it helps to hold me in place a bit more and my sleep is not as rough now. Didn't expect that result but very happy for it. It straps to the bed frame and seems to hold the rail in place pretty well. Definitely recommend.

My 87-year-old mother tends to hang too close to the edge of the bed. This often made me nervous and when she had a fall, it was imperative to get this for her. Assembly was relatively easy. However, depending on the weight of the mattress, you may need assistance getting it under. The item does come with a strap for stabilizing it. I used the strap to also assist me in pulling the bar under the mattress. The rail can be assembled for both the right or left side of the bed. There are pockets on both sides of the frame for storage of items, such as the television remote control, cell phone, or literature. The stainless-steel frame is durable and my mother tells of how it has made pulling herself up to get out of bed much easier. Attaching this rail to my mother's bed has given me more peace of mind and has afforded me a good night's sleep, knowing Mom is safe from falling from the bed. A wonderful product for yourself and especially, the ones you love.

This isn’t what I anticipated. I had thought it’d work the same for the four year old as she was recently graduated from her crib into a twin bed which she kept falling out of. I got this product and installed it only to find out why it’s no apropos to use for kids, because there’s an easy way to release the railing to let it fall to the side which is great for older people but for kids, it’s just something else that prevents her from sleeping through the night bc she just lowers the safety railing and ends up on the floor by morning

I'll start off by saying I didn't get this item for the intended purpose. I am not elderly nor disabled. Instead I've been using this product in replace of a headboard to provide stiffness and support for an XXL body-sized reading pillow that I like to put on my bed for when I read. Since there's a bit of a gap between my wall and my bed it just lets it be more comfortable. It seems to be fairly sturdy. Holds a decent amount of weight and seems to be built well. It's easy to setup and doesn't look bad. I can't really provide insight to how it'd be for its intended purpose and I haven't stressed the durability much. I can't guarantee it'll hold out for long periods of time, but it feels like it should be fine.
