I bought this bedrail for a disabled senior who has a problem falling out of bed. She is happy with this bed rail and it keeps her safe and prevents unwanted falls. It was easy to set up and seems sturdy. I recommend it and feel that keeping someone safe is much better than an ER visit!

I had fallen out of bed and hit my face on my table giving me a hairline fracture on my nose. I ordered this as this is at least the 5th time I've fallen out of bed. The other times I did not get hurt. 3 of my grandkids put it together, the mattress is very heavy so 2 lifted it while the 3rd hooked the strap around the frame. My granddaughter tried it out and she couldn't make it so she would fall out. The only con is that it will fold down but you have to take the 2 clips out to fold it. When you put it back up you will need to put the clips back in to secure it. Hopefully this solves my problem. I fell out of bed because I was dreaming I was trying to run up a hill to get to safety, maybe I should quit watching westerns before bed, maybe switch to the hallmark channel. Pic 1 is it in the up position Pic 2 in the down position Pic 3 the 2 clips you have to remove Pic 4 where the clips have to be placed Pic 5 the bed adjusted up for watching TV If you need it closer to the head of the bed, it may not work, but I put it in the middle where I am more likely to fall out.

It was tricky to assemble as some of the pieces fit very tightly together but once assembled worked well. Sturdy and reliable for helping a senior sit up on the side of the bed. He felt safe when shifting his weight.

Great bedrail. Easy to put together and install and easy to use. Just make sure you measure the height of your mattress so you get the correct size rail. I almost bought the standard size rail, but saw I needed the next size up.

This product was of no use to me at all. My bed is narrow because I live in an RV. The part of the bed rail that goes under the mattress has very , very little if any adjustment, there fore I have to lift the rail pit it down head first. Now that leaves two unprotect pipes that injures the inside of my knees. Anything blow my waist takes a very long time to heal do to my health condition. After using it for five nights, I gave up on it. Both legs black and blue/ scratched with pain in the rectal area, it’s now in the garage(my loss I guess). I don’t have any help getting in and out of bed or sitting up and down. I operate this safety rail myself.. I would suggest to the manufacturer to have the under bed part bed fully adjustable in and out the the width of the bed(some beds being narrower than a single. If the top of the rail is to be lifted up then folded down then please give us protection from those bare sharp pipes sticking straight up. The good news is that for people who don’t have extra narrow beds is that this product is so very well made in every other way that I can think of. The materials used are very study. Also the bed rail does not look junky. Actually it has an atractiive, appearance. Actually, if it had those two adjustments, I would still be using it today.
