I purchased this bed rail immediately after she fell trying to get to my bathroom. I thought “never again”. And since putting this bed rail into use those words have rang true. As an added benefit it’s given her the confidence and autonomy to be more independent. She can get up and transfer to her cane or walker much easier now so she can get to the rest room or go grab a snack without being afraid to fall. The assembly and installation took maybe ten minutes with my husband’s help. It feels like a quality product and is very stable and comes up to a little above hip level on my MIL standing. I am just so happy to have found a product to make all our lives a little bit easier.

This adjustable bed rail is a solid option for elderly adults or anyone needing extra stability when getting in and out of bed. The design is sturdy once set up, and the included storage pocket is a convenient touch for keeping essentials close by. Some of the pieces did not fit together properly during assembly, which made putting it together more frustrating than it needed to be. Also, it does not have a quick-release feature, which would have made adjusting or removing the rail much more convenient. I'm afraid that as I sit to write this review the item keeps losing stars as I think about it. It is super cool that these fold down for easy transport and storage, however that ended up being a downside as my mother-in-law needed them to help her get up on my high bed, but she didn't feel like they were sturdy enough to help her pull herself around. Because she felt them move a bit (due to the foldable arms) she was afraid they would collapse if she put her full weight on them. I really don't think that would have been possible but that did help her feel comfortable using them. Also in the picture they come very high over the mattress, in our situation there was maybe 2 inches from the top of the mattress until the top of the bar so there wasn't a great visual for her to see where to grab. Finally, if you put the side grab bars on then it is almost more of a "keep them in bed" kind of rail than an assist to get them up into the bed. I considered drilling another hole so I could put that side grab bar in a bit more but end the end she said no, don't bother... All that said, this was all situational and these things may not be a hinderance in your situation. I did really like the pouch, I thought that was a nice touch for remotes or glasses or other items you may want in reach.

I had spine surgery and this has been a life saver for me to get into and out of bed. The legs is what sets this bedrail apart from the others. I had 1 that just goes under the mattress and it slides all over the place. The legs give it the more support and sturdiness out really. It was super simple to put together to.would definitely recommend this item to anyone in need of something like this.

Got this so I can add it to my loved ones bed. He has dementia and has started falling out of bed at night. This has been perfect, no more falls. Keeps him safely in bed and lets us keep him at home as long as possible. This is a game changer for sick or elderly people. Get it, you will be so pleased.

The media could not be loaded. Bed Assist Rail It came in black. It fits King, Queen, Full, Twin. Under 13 “ mattress height. It has an adjustable length. It has two storage pockets. Came with a motion sensor light w/ instructions. It is 180° foldable design. It has non-slip rubber mats at the bottom of the legs. It has an adjustable safety strap. It can hold up to 330 lbs. OVERALL… It came with complete instructions on how to put it together, with the tools to use included. I like the motion Sensor Light, great for at night. I like the 2 storage pockets. I believe it is a well-made, carbon steel, bed rail. I believe the price is a little high!

My elderly father has challenges getting out of bed, it’s always a struggle. I ordered this to help him get out of bed with ease. The adjustable rail was simple and easy to put together. I like that it’s adjustable and easy to maneuver. Once everything was set up, we tested it out and it worked as expected. I’m glad that I was able to provide my dad with some assistance getting out of bed. The rail can be used for anyone for struggles with getting out of bed.
