These bumpers are fantastic for our needs. The listing suggests allowing them to inflate for 72 hours before use, but within the first 4 hours of unwrapping they were nearly the size they were supposed to be (so we went ahead and used one of them the first night only after letting it inflate for about 8 hours). These are exactly what I was hoping for. Our 3 year old moves so much during sleep that he needs something to hold him in or he'll roll onto the floor. His toddler bed is positioned so that we only needed to use one of these bumpers. These bumpers are the EXACT length of a toddler mattress! Perfect. Fitted sheet still fit over, a little stretched, but still holds in place. We are going on night 4 of usage (from receiving!) and this has helped keep my son in his bed :) It's super squishy, so it compresses easily when leaned on, but goes back to its shape quickly. Since this was a two-pack, the other bumper will be used in our camper. He's in a bunk (maybe about a two feet drop onto another mattress if he were to roll out) and this will easily and safely hold him there without "caging" him in like a traditional toddler bed railing (which is what we thought we were going to have to use). So thankful to have found these instead! Very happy to have found these.

I saw these for a few days and contemplated getting them but didn’t right away. Then my son rolled off his bed and I immediately logged in and ordered. My son is in a toddler bed with no railing and hasn’t ever really rolled off but has started too more often. Also, his bed is a Montessori and it sits on the ground, so a traditional railing wouldn’t work. This bumper fits perfectly, it looks way too long but once I put it on it fits perfectly. The bottom is non slip and it truly does not slip unless physically pulled off. My son has been sleeping better and has not rolled off since they don’t move. I waited the 72 hours for them to fully expand but they were pretty good after a few hours. Since my son only needed one I put the other on my daughter’s loft bed just to make it more comfy instead of metal railing and it also helps that nothing falls from the bed between the wall. These are a great alternative to the toddler railings and they do work very well, I am impressed that they don’t move at all. I did not put the sheet over my sons but he as a throw blanket he sleeps on and I just draped it over it and it works great.

I picked up the Bed Bumpers for Toddlers, and I have to say, it's a pretty nice product. Just a heads-up, it does take a couple of days to fully expand after you unwrap it, as it comes tightly rolled. Also it doesn't go all the way down the mattress. These are bumpers and only go about 3/4's of the mattress length. Now, I'm using this for something a little different than its intended purpose. My boys have a bunk bed that's right up against a wall, and they were constantly dropping toys, books, and all sorts of things down the gap between the mattress and the wall. It was driving me crazy! So, I decided to use this bed bumper as a filler to plug that gap, and it's worked absolutely perfectly. They fit snugly, stay in place, and have completely solved the problem of things falling down the side. I'm really happy with how well they've worked for this unexpected use. The quality is good, and the waterproof cover is a nice touch. If you're looking for something to fill a gap between a mattress and a wall, or even for its intended use as a bed bumper, I'd definitely recommend these.

I was unsure about this bed rail at first. It was packaged to save space with lots and lots of tape to carefully cut in order to remove the product (tedious!). It was purchased for a trip so would have been easier to travel with it unopened, but i noticed a "72 hr expansion" and "harmless smell" label so I went ahead and opened it. First of all, I didn't notice any smell at all. Secondly, only 6 hours after opening it, it was already in a usable state. Kinda wished I'd packed it as is to save space. This is perfect for a toddler or child that just needs a little extra protection to prevent roll-offs or wall bumps. It's a great length and soft, yet firm. Super happy with it and highly recommend for regular use or accommodating a child's bed while traveling.

I was skeptical about whether or not this would truly work as expected but I am pleasantly surprised. On my daughter’s twin bed it only leaves about 10 inches of space without the bumper, enough room to get in and out without leaving too much room for my daughter to roll off the bed. I was also nervous about it moving around but I tested it out and it stays in place quite well.
