Not bad for the price. Only negative thing is that the ice piles up on the edge and blocks the sensor making it think that the tray is full when it's not. You'll have to stir up the ice every few batches to keep this from happening.

This is a pretty serious portable ice maker, we had to run it a bunch of times before actual use as per the directions but after that, it's a great and very easy-to-use ice machine. It makes almost teardrop-shaped ice cubes and is easy to crush down and fill up any ice trays in due time. It's a huge plus that you can pour bottled water knowing it will be good-tasting ice! This machine is very quiet and doesn't make too much noise. The mechanisms at work are cool to watch but very efficient in making ice quickly. The ice reservoir is a nice size and can hold a very large amount of ice. So far we have had no issues and it's continuing to work nicely. It has a nice wight and pro material. Very easy to use and setup. Basically plug in pour water and you get Ice. I keep this in my shop in the summer for parties and such. Ice starts quick within1/2 hour you have cubes. I do believe it will make 26lbs in 24hours although I have not tested that feature. Ice is clean and nice and machine is very quite. Instruction are very good and easy to read. Only issue is why I do not keep it running as the ice will melt in the container and stick together. But for parties this is a great product. ... show more
