We’ve only had this mattress for approximately one month. Delivery delays, etc., but Amazon was great in their handling. I had actually cancelled due to delays the day I was going out to purchase 62 miles away I receive call from shipping company to deliver the next day. I made a quick call to Amazon repurchased same price. The mattress is firm but confirms to the perfect areas if my physical lumbar needs. My husband first thought it was too firm but I haven’t heard any more complaints from him in the past week or so. The mattress is a deep dark navy and looks durable and more expensive than it was. We had an older, extra firm, Beautyrest "Recharge" line king mattress, and wanted to match up a new one as close to that as possible, as it was an excellent mattress and lasted many years. After some research, (actually speaking to Beautyrest at one point), we discovered that the recharge line had been discontinued and replaced by what they call the "Silver" line, and was now considered an entry level mattress, when compared to what the higher end recharge line had been. Brought this bed instead of the Black. Its simply amazing. And half the price of the Beautyrest Black. Most comfortable bed we’ve ever owned! Its definitely worth the buy if your budget won’t allow a Beautyrest Black. Compare the specs between the two. Never slept better.

This mattress is very, very firm. I love it, but my spouse says it's like sleeping on a sidewalk. So we compromised and added a memory foam mattress topper. It's still very firm, but the mattress topper makes it just a little bit more soft. For back pain sufferers like me, it is wonderful. But be aware that you very much sleep ON TOP of this mattress, and you will not sink down even the tiniest bit INTO it. If you sleep in your back like I do, it is wonderfully supportive. It might be too firm for side sleepers. Also you should know that this mattress is very heavy. But it seems to be great quality, at least so far. ... show more
