I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this chair. Looks great, very comfortable, easy to assemble. However, I’m 4’11 and this is the lowest salon chair I’ve encountered in 29 years of doing hair. It’s perfect for me, but anyone average height or taller may find it way too low. The foot rest isn’t my favorite, I prefer a metal bar to its plastic footrest, but it’s held up really well after six weeks of daily salon use. My only complaint is the footrest tends to bump into the ground when lowered all the way making it hard to impossible to turn with a client sitting in it. I would give this zero stars if I could I reached out to the seller to advise them that the chair came with no screws so you cannot attach the main part of the chair to the base there were holes poked in the seat. The plastic arm was scratched overall Poor quality and construction, and the seller was nonresponsive. First off, like many reviewers said this chair is easy to assemble. However the instructions are not very clear. Putting the base together was easy. The parts all came with the box but it was confusing. For instance when putting the back (as pictured) together, I thought it had to go on top of the black metal, making me think that I was missing some parts. However, you need to put the vertical metal piece that is connected to the back of the chair UNDERNEATH the black metal part, with all the screws that is connected to the bottom of the chair. Other than that annoying mistake (thank God I looked at the reviews and pictures to finally figure it out), it was pretty easy to put together. I also couldn’t figure out how to lower the chair 😅 It’s a good chair so far! I’ve used it twice. Update: it barely lasted a year. The screws started to pop off. My clients always felt like they were about to fall. Not safe. It’s unfortunate because I was really liking it. ... show more
